The came out to do the estimate, and then scheduled an appointment a couple of weeks later. A few days later I called to see if they could move the appointment up because of a storm forecasts and they did agree to come out earlier in the week.

Got an estimate from Robert,He showed up on time with all of his paperwork in order,references,insurance paperwork etc. What I liked about him was that he was straight forward about everything,did not to try to oversell,no pressure at all. The crew showed up on the day they said and always were polite and friendly,Not like the usual guys I have dealt with in the past. At the end of every day they cleaned up to where everything was almost spotless and at the end of the job I think it was cleaner than when they started(it took a week of nasty tearing off). They exceeded my expectations and I feel they went above and beyond to make sure every thing was right.

I would not only recommend Above Roofing, I would Highly Recommend them for any job. From the initial contact at the GR Home and Garden Show to the quoting process, and now with the crew that finished the complete job in 18hrs on a 29square roof, was outstanding. The whole team is very professional, upfront and thorough in going through the details. I had 6 contractors provide a quotation, ABOVE was the ONLY contractor to go into the attic and idenfitied everything looked good, except for bathroom vents that needed to be brought up to code. All the other guys would have nickel and dimed me on it. But they were upfront with everything. Also their walk around and quote process took almost 1 hour +, and they did it with me, I felt involved. Above was not the least expensive, nor were they the most expensive. You get what you pay for and you should always pay the "right" price, for a high quality job. There were no suprises. Now it hasn't rained yet, but I'm confident that if there is an issue, they'll be right back out to take of it, as many of the others have indicated in previous reviews. To me communication is key, and these guys know how to do it. Glen and is team was great!!! ALso, these guys were given a timeline to complete, be done by Thursday at 6pm, we're having a baby shower and guests will start arriving. They were supposed to start on Tuesday, but serious rain delayed the start to wed. They knew we had the shower on Thursday, before I even told the crew. They started at 7:30am on Wed, and just finished at 2pm on Thursday. The dumpster will be gone by 5pm. (18hrs) Well done. There dedication to cleanliness on the jobsite should also be commended. I hope these guys keep up this level of service.

Installation was in one day, as promised. They cleaned up all debris and were very professional.

When I scheduled the appointment for the estimate they e-mailed me a confirmation with a picture of the gentleman doing the estimate. I appreciated that. Tommy arrived promptly, was very professional and congenial. Seemed very knowledgable about their products and sky-lights in general. The two gentlemen who did the actual work also arrived promptly. They were also very professional. They took great care to protect interior surfaces as they worked. Finished job blended well with our interior, looked great from outside. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. Overall, we were very satisfied and would use them again.

They did a great job. They are Christian-oriented and they don't curse. They were on time and they are reliable. They don't smoke and stink up your house. The guy's wife is in the office and she is really nice too. The work has really turned out nice. They are really above and beyond what you expect. The price went up a little bit because there was a lot of water damage on one side of the house. They just made sure that everything was right. They were real pleasant to work with. They are good people.

They did a very good job of explaining the situation. There was no pressure in what we should typically do. I was impressed with the guy who did the estimate. They were prompt and did a good job.

They did the job for the estimated price. They were honest that we didn't need to replace more. I would use them again.

Not much to tell because I didn't go up to the roof to look - maybe spring! I obviously decided I trusted the company. The man who came to do the work, rang the bell and introduced himself. He also contacted me when he was completed.

Robert came to the house to estimate the work. I had another issue with ice damming on the roof (bigger job), so I am pretty sure he wanted me to have both done at the same time, therefore I think he quoted the smaller job a little higher to urge me to do all of it at once. I do understand, that is how business works. Overall, Robert was extremely nice and caring. He spent a lot of time giving me advise (that I asked for) and guiding me. He explained their company, and their practices very well. I am convinced that they are a very trustworthy company. My only complain is that the price was rather high for what needed to be done. Their worker spent about 20 minutes up on the roof. It was a strait forward fix. Too short of a time elapse to know for sure if it was completed correctly, but I do trust that it was. Having said all that. Future work will definitely be quoted by Above Roofing, but I have to leave the door open to competitive quotes due to the price.

The company sent someone out to give us an estimate within two days of our initial all. The company representative surveyed our roof, explained what the problem was and what the possible fixes were. We agreed to the less extensive plan for repair. The work was scheduled immediately, workers showed up on time, cleaned up their work and did an excellent job.

I signed a contract and they are going to come in a couple of weeks to do the work. They were very professional and on time. They brought up a lot of things that I hadn't noticed.

I don't know what they could have done better. They showed up early, did a great job on the repairs, and cleaned up their mess. They were prompt, courteous, and professional.

They showed up promptly. They did not try to sell me an expensive roof repair which other roofers had decided I needed. They also agreed that the roof did not have to be replaced. They said it just needed certain strategic repairs that could keep it going for a while longer. I got them from Angie's List. I think they are a good organization. There are many roofers in the Grand Rapids area that it's hard to understand who is the best by just looking at the ads. I would definitely use them again.

They did a great job of coming up with a solution. Their rates are very affordable and they were fair about the price adjustment with all the additional time they spent fixing problems they were not anticipating. I was very happy with them.

Their price wasn't expensive and bad. They were great. The guy who came out did exactly what he said he was going to do. He came and did it. He did a great job on it. I did have my roof replaced within the last couple of weeks and that was due to hail damage. I went through a particular roofing company that was in the area doing many people's roofs. I was familiar with his work, and seen what he has done. I was planning to use Above Roofing to get that job done, but since I didn't have to pay for, and my insurance company handled it, so I ended up using another company. Above Roofing’s pricing was fair, and it was right where I expected. I called and spoke to someone in the store. The owner was not available then; but he called me back right at that time. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the service. I will recommend them.

They were good. I didn’t have any complaints. He was on time when he came out for the estimate. He was a part-owner of the company. He was quick and did a good job from what I can tell. He said when he got up there he discovered some other stuff that was wrong, and he fixed it. I will need another roof in 5 years or so, and I would probably call them again. I didn’t have any problems with the person who gave me the estimate.

Jay came out and gave us an estimate on what it would cost to repair our roof after a storm tore off some shingles. He showed up on time, was very polite, well spoken and did a thorough examination of our roof. He took pictures while on the roof so he could show us exactly what needed to be fixed. He explained what he found and gave us a very reasonable price estimate for the repairs. We hired Above Roofing to complete the repairs as written on the estimate and they gave us a 2 week time frame for when the repairs would be complete. They finished the work ahead of schedule, charged us exactly what we had agreed on, and the roof has been great ever since. I would definitely recommend them and hire them again in the future!

It was a quick repair. Not much more to say. Went well.

They initially came out in June and gave me an estimate. About three weeks later they came to do the repair and I'm still kind of waiting for the resolution because something wasn't quite right but I feel like it will be fine. They did a couple of other kind of things which hadn't needed to be done otherwise or repair wise. They said it was going to be two weeks between when they came out to give the estimate and when they would do the job but it actually took three and a half weeks or more than that. They said that they would give me a call to schedule it but I never got a call in advance but somebody just showed up. I really thought that I didn't need to be in the house or they needed anything from me. It took longer than they said it was going to be. It was just repair and it wasn't urgent but I could imagine that could have been troublesome with somebody else but I was fine with that. There is still a leak and I'm still waiting for them to resolve that but I don't think it's major. Technically it's not finished yet. They were very good but they cost more than their competitors. They had such a good review on Angie's List that I went with them.

They crew was very professional during the project. Left the area clean. Followed up with a couple of corrections after the project was complete without hesitation.

They have been extremely professional. They are friendly and they brought samples for us to look at. They explain everything. They gave us different choices on the level of shingles and other options. I know the work is going to be good. They are so professional and they clean up every time they’ve been here.

They are prompt and response. It took less than a week between estimate and repair/work. Less than a month passed and roof leaked again in some area. The company was called and they come out on the same day and inspected the roof and did the second repair. No further leaks to date.

Above Roofing has always responded promptly and courteously to my inquiries. They are easy to work with and conscientious. I appreciate their honesty, work ethic, and helpfulness. I highly recommend Above Roofing.
