Service has always been completed within estimated time and cost.
When they notice that repairs are needed that are in addition to the repairs for which you scheduled the appointment they inform you of the need, and provide you with an estimate. If it is safe to hold off on this additional repair they will tell how much leeway you have before the repair becomes necessary. All of this is volunteered and there is no pressure to effect the repairs.
