BUDGET PLUMBING

I'm very happy with the service. Jerry checked that it was actually the floor drain and not another problem before he began the work. I used Budget Plumbing May 2013 and was very happy. I was happy this time too.

We needed a new sewer pipe from house to septic (had a dip in it, and also was partially still made from old clay pipe pieces), new water heater, and fix problems with kitchen sink (low water pressure, very slow drain). We found a plumber (not through Angie's List) that was willing to work with us on the price by having us do some of the work ourselves. He recommended replacing all the water pipes going to the kitchen sink as the slow water pressure was likely due to the old pipes corroding. We also discussed the water heater; going with a tankless one or replacing the 40 gallon with two small ones placed in the attic to save space. After numerous discussions with the plumber we decided that the sewer pipe was the most urgent one. We did all the digging to expose the old pipe. We worked on this for several months, and had the plumber stop by occasionally to review the progress. Once we had the whole pipe exposed he would not return our calls anymore. After numerous tries to get in touch with him, we started calling other companies, as it was late in the fall and we did not want to have an exposed sewer pipe on our yard when the snow started falling. Budget Plumbing was one of the companies we called. Ryan came by the next day after we called him. He gave us an estimate on replacing the sewer pipe and water heater. He did not recommend putting anything in the attic in case of a leak. He also looked at the kitchen sink. He noticed a broken part on the faucet, and recommended that we go buy a new faucet first, he thought that would fix the water pressure instead of tearing up the whole kitchen. He recommended snaking the kitchen drain with a commercial grade one, as our own manual efforts had not cleared the clog. We bought and installed a new faucet the next day; the water pressure was back to normal! That sealed the deal for Budget Plumbing. Made an appointment for the following week for them to come out and replace the sewer pipe, water heater and snake the kitchen drain. They were done with draining and removing the old water heater, installing the new one, replacing the sewer pipe and snaking the kitchen drain in 5 hours(!!!). They even covered up the sewer pipe half way up so that it would not be exposed to the cold.

I called late yesterday, Ryan was over first thing this morning and was able to quickly fix the problem. He's a nice friendly guy, I will call him again if I have any plumbing or hot water heater needs.

He is very responsive and prompt, works fast, has excellent suggestions and is good to work with. His pricing is very reasonable. I recommend him highly.

Our gas water heater started leaking and we called Budget Plumbing in the evening at 8:30pm. Ryan answered the phone and advised on a replacement and gave us a a ball park cost. Because of our emergency he offered to call another client scheduled for the morning requesting a rescheduled, call us back saying they were understanding and that he would be here this morning at 8:00am. This morning he arrived preciously at the appointment time. I had drained the old tank and Ryan got to work in the installation completing in about an hour. The pricing was reasonable, Ryan was very personable explaining all that we needed to know about the new Bradford-White water heater and we will be recommending Budget Plumbing to our friends and neighbors.

I called and he was here in an hour even though it was not an emergency! He was polite and got right to work, had the drain cleared in 15 minutes. I was very happy with the service and the price, I will call him again when I need plumbing.

It all went as expected. The system was connected, tested, and water turned back on. He took his bucket, tools, and rags back, but left scraps and box on the floor of the basement. No mention of removing packaging was in the discussions, but I assumed that he would take care of that. Bad assumption on my part, and will make it a part of the next job I will need to have done.

I came home to find water leaking through our kitchen ceiling. Called our usual plumber but he couldn't come for two weeks! Called Budget Plumbing, and Ryan arrived within twenty minutes! We were really impressed with his professionalism and especially how quickly he worked to keep the bill as low as possible. He found the source of the leak and fixed it. I waited to write a review in case anything went wrong. We've had no problems whatsoever. Next time we have plumbing problems, we'll call Budget Plumbing.

Fantastic service - excellent job. He resolved a long standing (and complicated) problem. He's obviously a hard worker and 'knows his stuff.' The bathroom was meticulously clean when he left.

They were great, installed the water heater quickly with no problems. Extremely personable.

Ryan was prompt, courteous and neat. He was very respectful to us and our property. He explained what was causing our problems and what he was going to do to fix them. With the sink, he gave us two options. We are very happy with his work. His bill for 1.5 hours and parts was very reasonable.

Ryan was easy to contact. He scheduled the appointment quickly and at my convenience. (It wasn't an emergency, but he gave me fast service anyway.) He came on time, brought all the necessary parts and tools, and installed the three exterior faucets. He also installed special piping to help prevent the faucets from freezing in the winter. He gave me a lesson on how to use the new faucets--they are much more sensitive than my old faucets, and don't need to be turned as hard or as far. I will call Budget Plumbing again if I need a plumber.

We purchased a 100 year old house. Upon moving in we discovered various plumbing issues, among others. We were previously working with another plumber (Godwin) but they completely dropped the ball midway through the repair and left us high and dry. I called Budget and within 2 hours they had someone out to completely fix the issue. The work we had done was the repair of the main kitchen pipe that was pouring water into the basement each time we used the kitchen sink. It took less than 2 hours and was under $200 for all parts and labor. Godwin was attempting to charge us for 5+ hours of work and a few hundred in materials. Needless to say, we found our new plumber!

Called Ryan this morning and he came out this afternoon and repaired the leak. Ryan is very friendly and professional, if I ever need a plumber again he will be the one I call.

Ryan was awesome! I called in the morning and he came out within 30 mins, he did an excellent job! I would use them again in a heartbeat! Very polite and professional.

He could not come on the initial appt day, so had to reschedule, but he was able to come a few days later after I got home from work, and he called when he was on his way. I wanted a new shower nozzle surround, the tub/shower unit had an opening for the shower nozzle that wasn't centered. He cut the opening and replaced the surround unit and tightened the nozzle. He cut the least amount possible so that I could change the fixture in the future and it would still work.

They came out the same day I called. They came out and installed the pipes from home pipes to the water softener. A day later there was a small leak because the water softener has plastic pipes and the house has copper pipes. Any time plastic meets metal leaks are more likely. I called the plumber back and they came the same day and fixed the leak. After that another Connection was leaking. Again metal to plastic. I purchased flex pipes that the manufacturer recommended to use and I asked the plumber redo the connections. They came out the same day and rerouted everything from scratch. The price was more than fair given the fact that they had to come out 3 times. I would definitively call them again.

He showed me how to check to see if the pump was bad, or if the switch was bad. He replaced the switch and shortened it to make sure the switch would not catch near to motor and overflow.

Wow, Ryan was great. Personally answered my phone call, came out the same day, custom crafted a brass/copper pipe to fit, caulked and clean up. He had the right tools, including muscle power, and got right to it. I've extremely pleased with him and his work.

He stopped by the day before to make sure to check to see if I would need a new faucet as it was leaking. Explained what kind of faucet to get. Arrived on time the next day. It was timely, pleasant and did a nice job. I would recommend this provider.

We had managed to damage the replacement part for the shower, and it took them two hours to discover that the part was never going to work. They then began to install a whole new shower mechanism, and deducted one hour of labor costs from the bill, because they felt badly that they may have spent too much time on a damaged part. They were really nice. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

I called Budget Plumbing about 10:00 am, Ryan answered the phone and told me he would be out about 1:00 pm and he would call when he was on his way. He called to let me know he could be here about 12:20 pm, to see if I was going to be home which I was . Ryan went through all of the possible sources of the leak in our upstairs bathroom and fixed what he felt was the only possible cause of the leak. After making the repair he drilled two small holes in the kitchen ceiling and used a little camera to make sure the leak had indeed stopped. We were also having problems with water flow in another shower and he fixed that.

Ryan was courteous, took his boots off before he walked through the house, showed me just what was wrong and how he solved the problem.

He was able to come to my house the next day which was great. He was right on time and completed all of the work very quickly. The quality of the work was great. I could really tell he knew what he was doing. From what I could see, he is a knowledgeable and thorough plumbing expert. I also appreciated how he went to the trouble to find the model of garbage disposer I wanted. This was important to me. I thought that Ryan did a great job overall and provided me with a great value for the amount of work he did. The above cost I entered was the total including the the price of the new disposer. I would DEFINITELY recommend him to anyone else and will call him again myself in the future.
