I woke up to a garage door that was not working and reached out to several Angie's List providers. Mike called me back before 7am and came out same day to repair broken spring. Subsequently, I decided to purchase a new door and Mike let me use the money I spent on repair towards the new door. Very well run company who I plan to use for my future garage door needs.

It went good. They came within a week after I purchased the big deal. There were no extra charges besides the $129 big deal. They were very fast in performing the service.

I called Firehouse doors on a Wednesday morning about 11AM stating the springs had broken on the door and therefore the door would not go up even if the cord were pulled to disengage the auto part. By 11:30 AM the service truck pulled up and by 12:15 all was replaced and the door fully functional. They had put in all my garage doors (4 of them) over 10 years ago and this is the first spring to fail. With all the very cold weather, I am not surprised. I will always use Firehouse Doors whenever I am in need this type of service.

Provider did not respond to my Angie's List communications, but did when I called directly several weeks later. He did not show up at the first scheduled appointment and did not follow up until I called. He said he gave me an extra discount for the problem, but having received no initial estimate, I can't be sure he did. Provider promised delivery and installation within a week and did not follow through. I had already paid for the service in full. Again, I had to call him several weeks later to get things moving again. An appointment was set, this time I got a call 5 hours *before* the appointment, stating they were on their way. Installation was quick and correct. The young man who did the installation was very polite and moved things about in the garage to where they had been before the installation.

We have a LIFTMASTER, 1/2 hp, garage door opener. After trying to close the door, the chain fell off, and a small gear dropped out of the assembly. I researched ANGIE'S list to find a service provider. After reading the many positive reviews for FIREHOUSE DOORS LLC., I gave them a call at 8:00a.m., explained my situation, and was told someone would be out within 2 hours. The technician, Andy, arrived 1 Hour later. He explained that this was a common breakdown, and would replace the chain drive gear assembly. Andy also told me the job would be completed in about 30 minutes. Andy was prompt, courteous and professional. He was finished in the 30 minutes that he said it would take. My entire experience with FIREHOUSE DOORS LLC, was incredible. The entire time, from my request for service, to the completion of repairs was 1.5 hours. I find that kind of response to the customer top notch. I would also like to point out that FIREHOUSE DOORS LLC, never tried to sell me more than I needed. This is a well run, customer focused, company. Thank you FIREHOUSE DOORS LLC!!

Company was VERY responsive. They returned our inquiry on the day we left a message, set up a same day appointment, provided a quote, and came back later that the same day to install the fix. They were quick when they came back to fix it. No messing around, they were there to do a job and that was all. Repair rep was very friendly and knowledgeable. They knew exactly what to do.

The provider was very punctual and the installers were professional, courteous and knowledgeable about the products. They answered all my questions and installed the new springs in a timely fashion. The installers also lubed up the tracks and made sure I was satisfied before they left.

I wish all local service companies were as good as Firehouse. Both times Ive used them they are quick, accurate, and leave no surprises when done. They arrived on time, completed the repairs quick, were pleasant to deal with, and the pricing is as competitive as anybody else Ive called. Highly recommended if you need garage door work.

Very friendly when setting up the appointment. They arrived early for appointment, which worked out good. Ordered our door and we were told it would be approx 1 1/2 weeks until it would be in for installation; however, we got a call that they had it in 4 days and they were out to install it the next day and it works beautifully. Very satisfied.

Estimator was prompt and walked us through all of the details. We ordered the doors, and it did take a follow up call from us to get an update, but from that point forward everything was great. The two installers were right on time, spent all day doing the install, and made sure everything was working properly. I didn't have power next to two of the units so they left them in manual operation. When I installed power to them I was having trouble getting them back into automatic operation and they were kind enough to come back out and show me how to re-engage the units. I was very happy with the level of service and professionalism.

I called over weekend, received a followup call on Monday as expected. We setup a time window for Thursday (my choice) which was 12-1. It's great to receive such a specific time, with many companies moving to larger time windows.
Service guys showed up right on time, assessed the situation... even helped me move a couple of things out of their way. The parts needed were already on their truck. They were completed with the repair in about a half hour.

Called and left a message in the evening stating that my garage door springs were broken trapping my cars inside, and a cell phone number to be contacted with. I called again after 9am the following morning with no answer. I again left a message and my phone number without any response.

We called approximately mid-November and Mike (owner) came out to our house within a couple of days. He explained the various types and models of doors along with the various accessories associated with the door. We gave him our list of items that we would like to have with the new door and the style. He gave us a very reasonable price which included a discount for being an Angie's List member. With the holidays approaching we opted to wait until after the New Year, he stated that we shouldn't wait too long as the there is usually a price increase towards the end of January.
At the end of January, we ordered the garage door was told it would that be several weeks before it would be delivered.
One important point was that we wanted the door to match our existing house color, however the doors did not come in any color that was close to our color. So if we wanted our color we would have to paint it ourselves, which we opted to do.
Once the door was painted, we called and set up an appointment for the installation, which was done within several days. Installation took about three (3) hours and they took the old door away.
The next day another installer came out and installed the remote access for the door, this allows us the enter the garage without a remote by just entering a code number.
The garage door we ordered was for a two-car garage and was insulated. We also ordered a new garage opener with a belt drive making it very quiet, two car remotes and the outside access.
The external hardware of the door gives it a "carriage style door look"
