My cat's ears were not infected.  As it turns out, matter in a cat's ear is also an indicator of infected anal glands (which she did have).  She was given  an antibiotic injection, and we scheduled a followup appt two weeks later.  At the followup, while my cat and I were waiting, my cat explored  the exam room.  When Dr. Swift entered, my cat was on the floor.  Rather than stress my cat by scooping her up to set her on the  exam table, Dr. Swift crouched down to the floor and checked everything there.   I, and my cat,  very much appreciated Dr. Swift's attention to my cat's mental health.
  We have followup medication, and my cat is doing well.

We found them on Angie's List. They are very flexible and make everything easily understandable.

Her lung condition requires constant monitoring during any sedation, or her lungs will collapse and she would die. Dr. Swift and staff are very conscious of the special treatment she needs. This is an ongoing search for solutions; Dr. Swift has suggested, and we are using, the least invasive treatments first. The office has made followup contacts to check on her progress. Dr. Swift explains possible options, possible treatments, and what she hopes to discover in each step of the treatments. She is also reachable by phone. I am very satisfied with her professionalism.

Ottawa Animal Hospital did a really good job with my cat. Their price was average. And the doctor is very committed to the animals. I will continue to use them.
