I like the fact that Dr. Klabunde stresses a preventative care approach that will keep my pets healthy and help avoid painful problems and expensive vet bills. Everyone who works there is wonderful and very attentive and loving towards animals. After my appointments, Northwood Animal Hospital set up a profile on their website for each of my cats. I can now access information about future due dates for vaccinations and keep track of past health details. Northwood's reminder cards are the best! They are not generic, but personalized for each pet. The post card has an actual picture of YOUR pet on the face of the card. It's those small details that tell me these people love what they are doing.

If you love your pets, this is the place to go!

Went very well. We just switched vets and we are soooo happy. Everyone is this facility is wonderful, polite, professional and caring. We are not just a number here. They go above and beyond what is expected. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a caring vet!. Also, I couldn't afford doing a certain test for our dog so I declined. Can I say, I did not feel guilty like some vets make you feel.

Terrible. The second round of meds didn't help either. Our pet was getting worse so we went to a different vet to get a second opinion. The new vet ran blood tests and determined within an hour that our pet's liver was failing. We spent approximately $1500 at the new vet trying to save our pet, but it was too late and she died. All of the money we spent at Northwood was a total waste for unnecessary vaccines and meds at the time. The vaccines probably even made her condition worse as the liver was already struggling to function. There's no way we will ever know if our pet could have been saved if the proper blood tests had been run at the first visit to Northwood. We did send a letter to Dr. Klabunde detailing our experience, but did not receive any response. I thought perhaps they would offer a refund or something.

I love all of the staff at Northwood Animal Hospital. ESPECIALLY Dr. Klabunde. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, professional and personable. But most importantly, she is not afraid to say when it is beyond her expertise and knowledge. And she always follows up with a personal reference to someone that does have the knowledge. I can't imagine a better experience for me and my canine children.

Upon entering, the receptionist did a good presentation of the services offered (could tell, no one had ever shown up requesting information for their dog ahead of time so this was unfound teritory for her). I then was introduce to one of the vets and spoke with her. I had reguested to see their operation but was not offered this.

Always goes great!! Our Kellie actually likes to go to see Dr. "Jen" and all of the staff. They make us feel that Kellie is the only dog they like!! Of course they love all their patients. Our 3 yr old cat-Fuzzy does not like to so much, but then again she is a cat. They love on both Kellie and Fuzzy, talk to them and treat them as if she wass their own. Dr. Jen and staff are some of the nicest kindest professionals that I know.

Dr. Jen and her staff are very polite, patient and knowledgable. They are great with my new dog and always make her feel special when we come in.
