He was extremely professional, approachable and honest about the work that was and was not indicated. He took a generous amount of time to explain everything to me and to discuss options, even knowing that he would not likely do any work for us on our current roof. I was thoroughly impressed with his level of service.

I'm still amazed that this entire job was accomplished in one day! If you need help with a new roof, talk to Tony! He was there. He was on top of everything and even though we had a small problem with a dent in our vinyl siding, Tony made that right with no disputes or problems. The crew (eight workmen) worked together as a team and it was fun to watch. They all knew their jobs and were very efficient. The materials were placed on the roof in the morning. The crew showed up about 20 minutes later and got right to work. Tony was in and out all day to make sure everything was going right and to answer any of our questions.

The representative was very helpful and patient during the evaluation and estimating process. The only downside I experienced was not hearing from him for weeks after we notified them that we were selecting them as our contractor. We were told the night before that our roof was going in the next day. However, they did ask whether that was okay before actually scheduling it.
Since we have a large house, we were amazed that the entire roof (pulling off the old layers of shingles, fixing worn pieces, and replacing all of the shingles) got done in a single day. We did have to request that they clear the driveway so we could get out early in the evening, but when we came back, the yard and driveway were cleaned up, and you'd never have known they were there except for the beautiful roof they left behind. Overall, it was a really good experience for a reasonable price.

Called Ed Moore Jr. for a roof quote. Ed was very responsive and come out within a few days. It was an insurance quote secondarily to hail storm. Ed worked with my insurance company, jumped tHrough all the hoops of my mortgage company to become a contractor on their list certified contractors directory. Job went quickly and efficiently and looks great. Ed also gave us other contractor names since we had siding damage and have been having trouble getting contractors to give us a quote do to amount of work in the area.

Asked Moore and Sons to give us a bid. We had additional complications with a mold remediation in the attic at the same time. Jeremiah came out and we had a good conversation and said we would give us an estimate. However we never received one even after several emails and phone calls. I received one email response which said he would get back to me the following Monday (June 30) but as of writing this July 9 (2 1/2 weeks later), I have not received any estimate. Disappointed as they were highly rated on Angie's list and recommended by someone from church whom they had done a great job on their home.

The job went well although it took awhile due to the challenges of an unfortunate run of wet weather (by no means the roofers fault).
The workers were very respectful as well as using care to cleanup at the end of each work day. Jeremiah Moore was also on site daily to oversee progress and address any concerns we may have had.

Jeremiah is very knowledgeable and a nice person to deal with. He came in at the best price of the 4 different roofing companies we met with. He gave us a quote on a new roof (removing 2 layers existing), adding ventilation and adding some insulation, as well as repairing/replacing our gutters & making them more efficient.
The initial visit went very well. He was knowledgable, answered all of my questions, and gave the estimate (which was very reasonable compared to some others). What eventually led to us not using him was that it was very hard to coordinate with his schedule. Our schedule can be complicated as well, but we felt we gave plenty of opportunities to meet (second meeting with both myself and my husband to go over more details and ask any remaining questions) that were either cancelled/rescheduled by him or did not work on his end. After trying off and on for over a week to find a time that worked for him, we opted to move on as we needed to make a decision soon.
Bottom line: if you can coordinate with him, he'd probably be a fine company to work with.

I had Ice Dams on the roof. Other roofers were busy, as well as Moore and Sons. Ed personally moved a crew over to my house and addressed the ice dams which were causing major leaks. The crew worked proficiently and quickly to eliminate as many of the Ice Dam problems that were possible. I got no sales talk about a new roof or special deals that other companies were trying to push. When I asked about a new roof estinate, Ed advised he would rather wait until we had a handle on the current situation, and then sit down and talk about a new roof and installtion times. A very reasonable reply instead of a "got to commit now for a special price" sales deal that other well known roofing companies tried to push over the phone without even caring about my current situations. Ed Moore and sons gets a A +++ in my book!

First off the are right about using their own employees. Only they don't use family like the description kind of leads you to think. Very hard to understand their laborers. Their price is great. No one that is licensed/insured in the area could beat it. They broke a window but Ed repaired it within reasonable time. Clean up wasn't the greatest tho. However, once the job is done it is very hard to get ahold if any of them. I hope they can fulfill the agreement if there is a warranty issue. Doesn't seem they'd be too prompt with issues like that. I'd still recommend them.

There was immediate and clear communication when more damage than initially was expected was discovered as the old shingles were stripped off.

The installing crew were. Here early and worked long hours . They were Organize and did not waist time.the job was completed the job in a timely manner,and the area was so well policed that the landscaping ane house was left in immaculate conduction.

The job went just perfectly. The team were courteous and professional. They were careful to protect our shrubs, trees and plants as well as the house. Their cleanup was great and as far as "all the details" there are no details to provide. They came and quoted us a price (we had five other company quotes) and we picked them based partly on price but also on the professionalism and no nonsense approach. The other companys tried to "add-on" other things to fatten their contract and were pushy regarding the "sign now for the best price, etc." The best thing we could ever say about them is that we would have them again!
