Their hourly rate looks to be competitive, but I paid $50 for what I'm pretty sure is a $20 part.

I have never been so disappointed with a service repair company before. These guys were friendly and were available quickly, but appeared to have absolutely no idea what they were doing. After taking a panel off my appliance, they struggled to put it back together, before giving me a "diagnosis" that consisted of telling me the problem I had already known... with no solution. I was then charged $65 for this "solution". I did not have them look at the other appliance that I wanted repairs on and immediately called another repair company.

Rick was very thorough and considerate of our situation - our washing machine broke, i had to leave for travel the next day and even though Rick didn't have the part he needed on his truck, he figured out how to get it so we could get our laundry done prior to our business travel ... thanks Rick ... great job!

I contacted Guaranteed Appliance at approx. 6pm on a Thursday evening and they were able to have someone out by noon on Friday (non-emergency repair). Rick from GAR was extremely friendly and very professional. Once he was able to diagnose the problem with my dishwasher he was very upfront about the cost to repair it versus the cost of purchasing new. We opted to not repair the appliance and instead by a new one. Rick only charged us $55 for coming out when his typical fee for a Caledonia service call would be $65. All in all it was a good service experience. Just a bad situation with a crummy dishwasher.
