They came out within an hour and a half of calling them on a busy Monday, they understood it was an emergency so they made time. They did great work and have done great work for us since. They are a reliable company.

They are fair priced although I have used cheaper but their service is excellent. ice used them on at least 3 occasions. only complaint is I wish they would explain what they are doing and all our options versus just coming in and going to work. They unclogged a sink but cracked the concrete so it was a bandaid fix because we had an unclogged sink but a sink that dripped water afterward from the pressure of getting the clog out. if they mess up they will come back out at no charge.

They seemed to be reasonably priced and were able to come out quickly. The pricing seemed reasonable for plumbing services. They were not stellar or anything. When they installed the gas line, the gas line leaked so it could have been an extremely bad problem. We smelled the gas and they came right back and fixed it. Our house could have exploded and burned down. I am a little hesitant to use them again because of the gas issue, but I think it was an honest mistake.

This was the first time I used Godwin Plumbing. Scheduling was easy. On the morning of my appt. Doug called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way, which was appreciated. Although it was the first appt. of the day, he was on time as scheduled. He fixed the four dripping faucets and accessed the status of our hot water heater. He provided a quote for replacing the heater, and I scheduled the replacement for the following week. Doug was very professional, as expected, I was very satisfied with my first experience with Godwin Plumbing.

On the morning of my appt., Doug called prior to arriving to let me know he was on his way. He was on time as scheduled. After he had prepped the old heater for removal, he called Godwin to request delivery of the new heater. Another guy arrived shortly with the new heater, and assisted with the removal & installation process. The utility room is down on the finished lower level, so it took some work to bring the old heater up the stairs and take down the new one. They used shoe protectors to protect my wood floor and carpet, and they were both very professional during the whole process.

I called Godwin because of the excellent ratings. It is true that they are the best in every category,A++ all the way!!! Will hire them again when needed!

The insides of three of our toilets needed to be replaced because they weren't filling completely. Godwin has a very good reputation, so I was sure it would be just fine. We were given a time frame of noon to two pm. The contractor showed up at three. He was, however, a very nice guy who seemed willing to do good work. All three toilets were finished in half an hour, and the price was reasonable. Last night after work, my husband noticed that spots were beginning to form on our kitchen ceiling. He went upstairs and found that one of the toilets was now leaking. Remember, our toilets were not leaking before we called. They were inefficient, but not broken. We called Godwin Plumbing, but they didn't seem very concerned. We decided to call back this morning, when someone might be around who could help us. This morning when we called, Taylor, the representative who answered, also seemed unsympathetic to our situation. He never said anything like "I am sorry; this must be very inconvenient for you." Or "Don't worry, we will make this right for you." Or "Sure. I understand that two days in a row is a lot to take off work. Of course we will work with your schedule." He was none too thrilled to have to give us a half hour notice before coming over (my husband and I both have meetings outside the house today- we were not expecting to need to have a plumber TWO days in a row). In short I am not sure I would use this plumber again. My mom and uncle both swear they are great, but I have seen no evidence of this in either their customer service or their quality of repair. I guess I will wait to see how they handle this now that they have been made aware of the problem. I will update my review once they have fixed my toilet and painted my kitchen ceiling.

I have used this company for years, and per usual the work was outstanding! They made an appointment three days beforehand to survey the job, and to make sure they had everything they needed to do it correctly. They came out promptly and on time, the work was completed efficiently, and the prices are very reasonable. They are also incredibly knowledgeable in their profession. I will continue to use them in the future.

Dave and Tom showed up on time ready to work. They removed all my galvanized plumbing and replaced it with new Pex and installed my new kitchen faucet. They were very nice, explained all the work that was going to happen and cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with this work and felt very comfortable having them in my home while I was at work. Will use them again!

My garage door was on the top of my list for projects I dreamed of doing. After 3 quotes spread out over a year I decided it was going to cost more than I wanted, and would require modifying a couple trusses, which I didn't want to do. On a whim, I passed Ken at Godwin and a sign with their garage doors and install prices. They seemed too good to be true, so I inquired, just waiting for the small print to come up. It didn't. Ken said he'd swing by and take a look at my old door and he showed up a couple days later when I would be home. He had all sorts of solutions to my unique garage that didn't require modifying anything at all. I could tell instantly that he was a perfectionist and had been at this a long time. Best of all, he didn't try to upsell us on anything. His bid came out about $300 cheaper than anyone elses! So we upgraded to windows! You'll learn that anything you ask about will provide this answer, "How much to add a keypad?" "About $20". "How much to add windows?" "About $100". Once the door was delivered to Godwin, he called to install it the very next day. He showed up about 45 minutes early and went right to work. Just him, no helpers. He moved fast and had the whole thing done in about 3 hours. He showed me all the work he did and all the littler "tricks of the trade" he used to solve any issues I had, such as the low clearance in the truss, and the gap at the bottom of the door due to uneven concrete. I could not be happier with the product and the service I received from Godwin Hardware and Ken. Did I mention that even with all this extra work he provided, the bid was $300 lower than everyone else's!??

Godwin Plumbing did the work quickly. The plumber also pointed out several things that I should be aware and take care of once we take possession of the house.

Their pricing was exceptionally competitive. They were wonderful to work with. They were prompt and rescheduled for us after it was clear that we had a bad situation on our hands. When they did not have the materials the first day they came back with the correct materials the following day at no additional service cost. They were professional and the service was extraordinary.

Worker was on time and repaired the leak without troubles. Very personable and efficient. Would use again.

I gave Godwin Plumbing a long list of problems from a reversed hot and cold faucet, to leaky handles, to a bad bathtub diverter, to a toilet that wasn't sealed well, etc? I expected to pay much more from all the work they did but was pleasantly surprised by a reasonable bill. The person they sent out was great and did the hard work I was expecting of them, and much more. After having lived with all the problems for two years, I wished I would have had the work done sooner for what they charged me.

The counter guy knew exactly what I needed and have me a choice of replacement parts.

While it took three visits, the problem was identified and repairs made.

As usual, it was Godwin's to the rescue! Their professionalism and customer service is consistently outstanding, even when the customer (oops, me?) is having a meltdown (no pun.) And they know their stuff, through and through...very knowledgeable, helpful and skillful. We found Godwin a few years ago and EVERY time we need help, they're consistently responsive, professional, courteous and knowledgable. I'm glad we found them!

They were great. Very knowledgeable and didn't hesitate to answer other questions we had outside the job to give us an idea of what maintenance we may need to do in the future. We'll use them again when needed!

He completed jobs professionally and efficiently. He showed me a corroded valve I didn't know about and replaced it. I hate to think about what would have happened if he didn't bring that to my attention.

My husband paid for it but they were reasonable.

I do most of the work myself if I can, but if I figured I cannot like plumbing, I call them. So, we have used them off and on for probably twenty years. If I needed a plumber, they are the only one I call because they are honest and fair. I never had a problem. They were recommended to me years ago.

My wife found no hot water in the morning and went downstairs to possibly relight the pilot on our hot water heater. She found we had water all over the floor of the basement and called me at work. I went to Angie's List to find a plumbing company that could come out quickly and repair or replace our water heater. Godwin Plumbing came up high on the list as having good prior reviews. I made a call to them and the representative told me he would do his best to get someone out to our house by 11am. He also talked me through what they would do when they got to the house if it was just a repair and what would be involved if it was a replace. He gave me an approximate cost and informed me there could be some incremental costs as well as the need for a city permit. The worker arrived just a few minutes past 11 and my wife told me he was very professional and carefully explained all that need to be done. It was quickly determined we needed a new water heater and they had one in our driveway within 30 minutes. The entire work took only a couple of hours. The costs were right in line with the estimate. We were very pleased overall and would not hesitate to use Godwin for all our plumbing needs.

They did great work and I was very happy with the service. I had used them before and requested the same plumber (Doug). I've been very happy with Godwin and plan to use them again.
