From start to finish Avalon was professional, courteous, and prompt. Avalon treated me as if I was a part of their family. Avalon sent out one of their owners to discuss the work with us. How often do you get to meet one of the owners? The roof work was outstanding. They pretty much redesigned parts of our roof for no extra charge. The gutters added a beautiful improvement to our home. I am a very honest person. If you want the best, go with Avalon and that is the truth. 100 percent satisfaction.

Avalon wasn't the lowest price, but Eric went into the attic to check out the roof. He was one of the only ones who did. I was impressed by that. Only one member of the work crew spoke English but they worked very hard. They cleaned up pretty good. I found a few nails but there weren't any shingles left around.

Callie had a challenge on her hands because I have three different roofs so she really had to crawl around. The house was cold for years. We had a couple of cold days since and we can notice a difference.

Our windows were single pane and from the 60's. So we can notice a difference with the new windows.

Work was professionally completed in one day. I am very satisfied with the end result.

There were some problems with the caulking on the chimney. But we called them and they came right out. The guys who shingled the roof did a good job.

Billy and Matt's crew were really nice. It took a while for them to do the work, and there was another delay to get more material. They arrived around 2pm, but cleaned up at 8, and came back for an hour the next day. The quality of the work was good.

Went well. They were prompt. They took care of everything and when I came home it was done in a day. The quality of the work was good.

It went awesome. They did real good, they were considerate. My son used to side houses and he complimented the job Avalon did. They put the awning back up for me and offered to put the gutter back up too but I told them I would do it myself.

They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Callie let me know about any potential problems. She let me know if anything happens to let her know.

Had a leak, but they came back out to caulk 17. I have no complaints rick came out the next day.

For the most part the contractors and sub-contractors that did the work for Avalon did a good job. First the roofers. I singed the contract on a Monday and the roofers did the job that Saturday! Yes, that fast and they did the job on a Saturday. And while the house is small the workers removed the old roofing and replaced it with the new roofing in one day, (3 workers did have to come back on the fowling Monday to finish a small area as there was not enough shingles to finish the job) So on the roofing part of this 3-part project everything except the price would get a A rating. As it took two weeks for the windows to arrive the windows were not installed until 3 weeks after the contract was signed (not a bad amount of time) The window installation went good for the most part. I can see where some customers may have some issues with the two window installers we had but for the most part they did a good job in the end. So on the windows part of the project the overall rating would be a B or B+ (once again except for the price) Not sure why but the gutters took the longest to be installed. The two gutter installers did a very good job in their work and that part of the project so that part of the project will get a A ratting (outside of the price of course) Bottom line. While the job is still new so far it looks good. The biggest now would I use Avalon again? I am not sure while the job was for the most part done very good the price in IMO was on the high side. And the odd part is once the project started no one from Avalon called to ask if the projects went good or even if everything was all right. So with the price and lack of follow up I have given Avalon a C rating overall, price and Professionalism.

Friday passed and I wondered if I had misunderstood so I waited until the following Friday to email Avalon and ask about my estimate. After receiving no response to my email I called Avalon on Tuesday the 15th of March. The woman who answered the phone said she would have Larry call me. I have not heard from Larry or anyone from Avalon. I do not know if our job was too small or if my estimate was misplaced. After contacting them twice to remind them I was waiting for my estimate. I am done. I did receive prompt responses from Horizon, Alcor and Rassmussen. We will be signing a contract tonight.

Avalon re-roofed the two story house , it took three days, they worked half a day each time. They said it would be done in one day. It was hot, but the did not show up until after 9 each day. Four houses down a single story house was done in a day. Both homes had their shingles removed down to the roof boards. our dumpster to hold the old shingles was right under the eaves on one side, the home down the street was in the front yard, all the old shingles had to be carried to it. They had 5 people working full time, we had 3 and at any one time only 1 or 2 were working. We have a flat roof connected to the house that was not reshingled. It has gutters around it. Broken shingles filled the gutters and were not cleaned out causing the down spout to be plugged and water collected on the roof. They called two time to see if everything was ok, I told the about the problem each time but they did not come out to correct the problem. I don't have a ladder and the shingles are still there, at least the ones that haven't been washed over the edge of the gutter after a very heavy rain. I used a broom handle to push up the down spout to unplug it but it still plugs up. It should have been cleaned out when the roof was roofed. On the second house they forgot to seal the roof around the chimney, after a heavy rain it leaked and ruined the drywall beneath the leak. Someone came out after two calls to fix it but only put tar around it, it should have been done when the roof was shingled. It should have been done with metal, now I'll have have it tarred every year or it will leak again, no offer was made to repair the drywall, even the knew it was damaged. In both cases I was not able to inspect their work as I have no ladder, and both jobs were done by the same crew. I don't think the workmanship was that great. The issues were resolved to my satisfaction .

Avalon was great in providing service. The workers showed up promptly and completed the job thoroughly. They cleaned up. I loved the guarantee that cames with the new roof installation. It is a lifetime contract that can be transferred to a new owner. The choice of the shingle and the details provided by Larry were outstanding. I appreciated the respect and thorough explanation of the project. I had several contractors out. He was by far, the best and most professional one. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Avalon for any roofing job. The cost was the reasonable and the work quality was exceptional. This ones gets 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Our experience with Avalon has been exceptional so far. They had to work in cold and snowy conditions but were able to complete the job over the course of a week. Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and showed understanding of the situation with our roof. We did still have a small leak around the chimney after the work was completed but they came out a few days later and repaired it. Since we did have snow falling and on the ground, they did their best to clean up all the old shingles that were removed but with the melting that has been happening we can still see quite a bit of a mess in the lawn and garden. We have been told that they will return in the spring and do further clean up around the house and at this time we have no reason to disbelieve them. Overall very happy with our choice to have them perform the work.

They replaced the flashing around the chimney, replaced the weatherproofing at the edge of the roof, replaced some shingles that weren't done correctly, and made sure all the nails were pounded in the way they should be. They were on time, they were polite and professional, and they cleaned up everything when they were done.

The installers (Todd & GG) did such a fantastic job on installing everything and a very through job of cleaning up, you never knew they had been there, except for the beautiful sunlight lighting up four previously dark & dreary rooms. These guys worked for two days in the snow and freezing cold, never taking a break to get the job done. The difference between Avalon and other companies is that Avalon employees are not only extremely good at what they do, they take pride in their work, which is a rarity these days. This was my third experience dealing with Avalon Building Concepts & their rep. Larry, and it certainly won?t be my last. I have a list of remodeling projects for 2016 and Avalon is the only company I will ever deal with again. You get what you pay for & these guys are the BEST!

Larry kept his word he sent some of his best guy for the job. Tim and Tom came and talked to us on what they were. Easy to talk to and gave us great advice on the kitchen and bathroom. We are very pleased with the work that is being done.

We sign with Avalon, Larry had material come the next day. Worker started a day later. Nice and clean job, they did it in day and half. Clean up well never knew they were here.

The guys that put our windows in were very good, clean and neat. They did a great job. Clean up very well.
