We had Avalon come out due to the fact that we had leaks after we had just completed some work to the interior of our home. Chris ended up coming out a couple of different times as we added additional exterior work. He was extremely honest and upfront with us. It made sharing our concerns about our roof and home easy. He was very professional, and took his time explaining our options. Avalon worked around our schedule pertaining to when they could drop off materials and start. When they started the project they worked like ants. They were constantly moving. The crew was very thoughtful in moving our angel statue away from the house so as not to break it. There was a huge mess on tarps when they tore off my exisiting roof that we thought would take them a week to clean up. Instead our whole roof took about nine hours to complete. The crew even helped my husband remove debris from our interior project to the dumpster. We can not wait to have our soffit completed, and look forward to working with them in the future on new windows.

They were quick and straightforward. Their inspector was knowledgeable and able to match my existing roof’s shingle color and design. Price was lower than other quotes I had received. Installation was easy. Roofing crew arrived early in the morning as a group of 10 and finished before I was home from work. My roof looks great and I no longer have leaks. Patio door and window crew was a two man team which were polite to my wife and thorough with all details. I am very happy with the outcome.

The roof of the trailer is done and beautiful. The addition is unfinished, and it's going on a week since the main roof was finished. We were told it would take 2 days-one for the roof, and one for the flat roof. Main roof started and finished on Monday; it is now Friday at 4 pm, and flat roof is still unfinished. When they started on Monday, the contractors began by cleaning all the snow and ice from the main roof and the flat roof. They were warned that the flat roof had soft spots in it. While they were clearing the flat roof, they created a crack in the interior ceiling. This crack widen until sections of the ceiling collapsed on our kitchen table. There was wet insulation and wet plaster everywhere. The ceiling under the flat roof was merely water stained prior to this. This ceiling had leaked off and on for 13 years, but it had never collapsed. We reported this to the company, and the Interior Manager came to look at the damages. First, he asked us what we thought they should do. We requested they repair what they had damaged. He preceded to tell me to put it on our home owners insurance because he was sure that if the company filed an insurance claim, it would be denied. He absolutely refused to entertain any other options. Subsequent phone calls to the company have resulted in being assured someone would call and discuss the problem; for 2 days, no one did. We were told people would be here to examine the flat roof; no one had shown up until today (Friday). I would not hire this company again for anything, and have contacted a lawyer about a possible case.

We got a knock on our door from Jonathan informing us that while standing on and inspecting our neighbor’s roof he noticed some missing shingles on our roof. He mentioned that we should contact our insurance agent to see if we could get the damage covered. We called him back out when our insurance agent arrived and he went to bat for us to get, not only the damaged shingles covered, but our whole roof. We had to wait awhile for our new roof due to bad weather, but we just had an army of installers leave that got our roof done in 4 hours. I am extremely happy with the way our new roof looks.

Avalon was quick to get me scheduled and my new roof put on. The crew arrived bright in the morning. I had to leave for work, but my mother was home and kept me informed on what was happening. She told me that the crew got right to work. She never saw anyone standing around, and said there was one crew member strictly cleaning up. When I arrived home my new roof was basically completed. The crew did come back the next day, on a Saturday, to put on the finishing touches. Only concern was where they had to park the dumpster. I wish they would have asked where to park it as the placement was a little inconvenient to get out of my driveway. Otherwise, communication was great and I got exactly what I wanted, a great roof.

It was great came when they said and it only took a about 1-2 days to get done. David was great to he was hontest about everything, he knew what he was talking about, he also knew what we wanted and our price range. I would work with him again

We had our roof completed last year and it happened extremely smooth. We went on vacation and ended up having a leak around our old skylight, they immediately responded to my call and had someone out to correct it the next day. There was no hestitating to contact them again when it came to our gutter guards. Avalon did take longer to complete that project, but the workmanship is excellent. For cost and quality there is not anyone that compares in the city. Highly recommended.

Amazing! They tore off and finished installing it in 1 11-hour day! The crew was efficient and worked very hard to get the job done. They also cleaned up the job site well and removed all of the construction debris.

I have been a landlord for 44 years, so I have bought a lot of roofs in my lifetime. Avalon's roof is by far the best one I have bought. They called me to offer a free roofing inspection and estimate so I granted the appointment in order to budget as I knew my roof would need to be replaced. Clint arrived on time and was a good salesman. I knew I wanted a 100% asphalt shingle as it is the best money can buy. Clint informed me on the shingle I selected, the company, and training program the crews undertake before stepping foot on a roofing project. I was impressed. The day it was scheduled to be installed Avalon' s crew arrived at 7:30 in the morning. They immediately started shoveling snow off my roof. There were guys everywhere preparing for the project. The crew tore off shingles and found additional water damage that needed to be replaced. They were some of the nicest bunch of guys I have had the pleasure of working with. Avalon ended up replacing 12 boards on my roof before installing the new shingles. The crew completed my home, breezeway, two stall garage, and my pole barn in less than one day. This is by far the best roof I have purchased in the 44 years I have been buying roofs.

I had some spots in the master bedroom and puddles that were in our hot tub room, so I knew we needed at least a repair to our roof. We had a canvasser that knocked on our door and set an appointment for Avalon to come out. Randy and Doug who came to inspect our home were very professional. They answered more questions than I had no idea I should be asking. This was my first and presuming only experience with a roofing contractor. Randy and Doug got up on the roof and found some other squishy places and shingles getting to the end of their life cycle that I did not know about. They made the recommendation to replace the whole roof. The professional of the representatives and the presentation allowed me to make my decision. The roofing crew that was sent out was equally professional. They did exactly what the said they were going to do in the time they said it was going to happen. Clean up was satisfactory.

I am familiar with metal and the trade so I was pleased Avalon offered fold in steel as a metal roofing option. Fold in steel allows for no nails to show. Jesus who came for the estimate was a good communicator and gave a great presentation. He made a few recommendations for color and adding additional gutters. He knew what he was doing, which gave me confidence that workmanship and quality would be right on par with his presentation. The crew really impressed me. They did remarkable well. They got here and got right to work. The crew cleaned up with tarps, but still find a few nails here and there. Said they would be back in the spring to clean up as they did the roof in winter. Pleased I know my insurance will be cheaper now, and the roof will last.

I wanted to finish updating the home that the previous owner did not get too. I saw Avalon’s signs everywhere plus I knew you were local so I called. Chris came in for the estimate and did a great home inspection. I ended up doing the roof as well as it had some spots that were showing some damage. I recognized it was more efficient to do it now rather than later. The roof went on first and it looks wonderful. I have found a few nails, but I expected to find a few. Everything else followed shortly after. There was a small delay on the garage glass block windows due to them coming in damaged. Avalon explained the situation and quickly got them reordered. I understood it was nothing they could control but it did put a small two week damper on the project being completed. I am very happy to have my house complete. Plus the work looks great.

Everything with Avalon just flowed. I knew I needed windows and had multiple estimates done by different companies. Avalon’s price for all 15 windows were less expensive than other companies were for just my bay window. When David came out to assess my current windows he explained three different types of windows and gave me tons of information on what would be best for me. The installers were friendly and professional offering to wear booties as to not to bring in dirt with them. Impressed with the windows as I no longer have big drafts or fogging this winter.

Avalon not only installed our door fast, they did it right. We had major gaps in our front entry door due to the frame not being square. We had a few estimates given to us, but Michael was the first salesmen to explain the quality of the workmanship and warranty behind not only the product, but the company. We were home for the actual front door being installed and were amazed at how fast the installers worked. He knew exactly where to shim to make the frame even. You could tell it was not his first merry go round. They came back the next day to install the glass storm door and left no mess behind. Everyone from Avalon we worked with were personable, professional, and polite.

We had some leaking and our roof was older. We were recommended by a friend to call Avalon and had them come out to look at our home. Larry who came for the inspection was wonderful. He showed us examples of shingles and clearly explained the warranty options allowing us to make an informed decision. We did not have to wait a terribly long time for the installers to arrive. I was here part of the time for install as it was pretty loud. The guys were friendly. Clean up was pretty good. We have had no major issues with our roof since.

As a small business owner and partner for a few rental properties finding a roofing company that would work around my schedule and my partners was slightly difficult. I don’t always work a nine to five day and did not necessarily want to disturb the tenants at the property that required the roofing at all possible. Avalon was quick to get with us on the inspection, working around our schedules, and provided a good price. They made the entire process simple while keeping us informed as to what was happening. The roof and gutters look great. I know I will use them again the next time one of my properties needs work.

Everything was excellent. Avalon was really good. The salesman helped me select my color and within days they had their team out here working on my roof. They cleaned up well but my Christmas lights were not repacked up properly and ended up falling. The roof looks great and I’m excited to use them again for my front windows.

It started a little bumpy due to the contract being written up loosely. We had a lot of non written understandings that caused it to be this way. Avalon’s representative who came to our home for the inspection was very friendly and we got the feeling he was a great guy which allowed us to feel confident in the company. Our glass storm door was misunderstood to only be half glass, but upon calling the office to inform them that I was not pleased after the installation, I got Jennifer on the phone. She was awesome and completely understanding. She wanted me to be happy and to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted. Her customer service was just that courteous customer service. Once we were connected everything went smoother. We had a challenging time finding a cupola that would fit to replace our damaged one. Everything we found was too tall or too small in size. Eventually the base was completely reconstructed and pictures were delivered to us prior to having it installed. The installation itself was great. Very diligent in covering the roof and plugging the hole. The completion of our deck truly exceeded my exceptions. The craftsmanship looks great. I would work with Avalon again in a second dispute the bumpy start, due to Jennifer stating they wanted me happy and Avalon following through on that promise.

Avalon was the only company I could find that was willing and able to complete a repair to my roof. Every other company told me I could only choose to redo the whole roof. Which was more money than I was prepared to spend on fixing a leak. Avalon worked with me and Ryan who was sent out to my home for the inspection was very knowledgeable and understanding. He identified the leaking area and Avalon quickly scheduled the installation. When I decided to do gutters I knew Avalon did a great job so I trusted Athem to complete it. The gutters look great and have kept water from my foundation.

I am extremely happy with the roof! Even with the weather the crew worked well together and quickly. Very appreciated in this snow.

the city was on me to fix paint issues on my garage so i decided to go with Avalon building concepts. i got a great quote and gave a deposit. after i paid the deposit i needed to cancel the contract so i talked to Larry at Avalon Building Concepts and he was a standup guy who understood my situation. He not only went through the trouble of cancelling the contract, but went a step further by giving me a full refund which he didnt have to do. Standup guy.
