The company was right on time and did a great job running the natural gas line to my standby generator. This is one of those little things that people forget when they buy a generator but improper gas hook up can damage an expensive piece of equipment. The job was neat and clean and done to code and the generator runs great. A very professional job.

Steve was very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. We liked him right away and felt like he was giving us a quality deal. He arrived when he said he would and moved the old equipment out and moved the new equipment in. They were both operational the next day. He did a neat job and everything looked really nice when he was done. We wouldn't hesitate to use his services again. Steve owns his company and does all the work himself so you are not paying for a big office and lots of office staff. We prefer to give the smaller companies our business. Our only advice to consumers considering a new furnace and a/c unit install, is to make sure you thoroughly understand permits that need to be pulled for this type of installation, chimney liners which are recommended by most HVAC companies to protect your chimney and inside living air quality and the rebates offered by the energy companies like Consumers and DTE. Also, it is always helpful to get an itemized list of all charges so that you are aware of what you are paying for.

Steve was very responsive and prompt. He was professional and personable and willing to answer questions. He gave me my options for repair or replacement. My new system was installed in one day and is working great. Wouldn't hesitate to call Steve for any problems or concerns. Thank you !

Arrived promptly and knew exactly what the problem was. Took them only half an hour to fix the problem, which was a clogged pipe in the Evaporator Coil Assembly. They also performed a little preventative maintenance on the exterior drainage pipes by injecting a cleaning solution into them and using compressed air to blow the debris out of them. Also cleaned up any messes resulting from their work. Top notch professionals and priced right too!

Steve was very punctual, provided good communication, and was reasonable on the price - was about $100 higher than the person we chose if we paid cash. We didn't use Steve because we found a slightly lower price using a contractor that my sister in law knew and had installed/serviced many of her friends AC/Furnaces. Based on my initial dealings with Steve, I would have felt comfortable installing/servicing our furnace.

Steve was incredible from the very moment we met him. He is straight to the point, honest and gives it to you straight. We had a couple other companies come out and give us quotes, which I will definitely be leaving feedback on their angies list! They were WAY higher than Grand Blanc Mechanical and a lot less knowledgeable to say the least... one even, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Our air conditioner had finally died, so he came in did a thorough check of everything, explained everything in detail. He was very considerate and professional. I am so happy we were able to find him on here, we most definitely have our heating and cooling company from here on out! He came in, did the new install, replaced all of the old line, cleaned up after himself, and went over everything once more. His reviews speak for themselves, if you are looking for THE BEST, you have found him! We will be referring him everyone we know! THANKS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND JOB DONE STEVE!

The overall experience went as well as could be expected. On Monday, I spent sometime on Angies List looking at all the comments and decided to call Steve Fletcher. He promptly called me back. I have a unusual work schedule and Steve worked with my schedule and agreed to come out to the house on Wednesday morning. He was right on time and quickly got to work. The problem was in fact a bad capacitor. Steve quickly replaced the capacitor and got the A/C unit running. Thank you Steve! I would definitely use his services again.

On time, very knowledgeable. Steve was very friendly. Didn't try to sell me what I didn't need. Gave me great advice on my other systems. Found my heating & cooling guy.

I was having a furnace problem. I called to schedule a service appointment and ended up with just some honest advice. Steve answered my called and I described the issue. He told me he could come out and do the repair and gave me an approximate cost. I gave more detail on the issue and he provided some suggestions which saved me quite a bit of money. I was so impressed with his willingness to educate me and help me out instead of just padding his pockets like most businesses do anymore, that I would not hesitate - if it came down to replacing the whole unit or any other major work, to call Steve again. We need more Steve's on the other end of the phone.

Steve was the best! He's not out to rip anyone off. I feel that I received the best product and service, no matter what the cost. He knew his product and answered every question; he asked enough questions to make sure that I was getting what I needed. His prompt, curteous work ethic is hard to find. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. He will be my go-to-guy from now on!

Steve was fantastic. I called first thing Saturday morning when they opened and he was at my house by 11:00. I did not have heat for two days and it was cold. I had cold air blowing from the vents even though the furnance was shut off. I had a friend come over to look at it thinking it was the pilot light (I have now learned that I will just call Steve). Steve tried cleaning the ignitor switch etc. first ...trying the least expensive first to solve the problem. I ended up needing a new board for the furnance. Steve again saved me money by putting in a used one instead of just saying I needed a new one and even said if it goes out that he will pro-rate the cost to a new one if needed. Steve was very patient and humorous when he was faced with a thermostat that I had a friend put in (again I will have Steve back to replace) due to the wiring not being put in correctly by the friend. Steve will be back in the Spring to rewire and put in the thermostat so I will have air-conditioning. I was expecting a huge bill and was very pleased with the cost of the repair and how timely Steve was able to come to my house especially since it was the weekend. I will be telling all my friends to use Steve for any heating and cooling needs!!!

We had our furnace installed in the winter time with Grand Blanc and went with Grand Blanc again for our AC in the Summer because we were so pleased with our service from them. They did a great job. Quick, affordable and efficient. No problems what-so ever. Everything in great working order. My husband and I left for a trip this passed weekend and had in laws here 2 of which were in their early 80's when the Thermostat decided to stop working. It is a hot Summer and we were across country and feeling helpless. We called Steve to ask him if he knew what the problem could be. He came out first thing in the morning and fixed the thermostat without charging a service fee even though it wasn't under warranty. We had a great piece of mind knowing everyone back at home was taken care of and could continue enjoying our trip worry free. This is the kind of service you hope for and expect in a company and its very hard to find now days.

I just had another contractor out to look into why my AC would never reach it's target temp. The contractor could not find the root cause and left me with a $109 maintenance fee. I called GBM for a second opinion. Steve the owner was right on time and very professional. Steve found that I had a kinked return pipe outside the house and the compressor was not working. I was upset the original contractor did not see these issues so I called them back and they repaired the pipe for free and provided a very healthy discount on a new compressor. If it hadn't been for GBM, I would have ended up paying a lot more. In the future, I'll definetly be calling Steve at GBM first.

Steve was very customer service oriented. He was prompt, courteous and thorough in answering all of my questions. Another company had indicated that I had a crack in the heat exchanger and Steve was a "2nd opinion". He could not confirm the crack, did a CO test (which also could not confirm the crack since there was no CO leak) and then proceeded to offer other possible solutions, including an estimate on a new furnace purchase. He also responded promptly to my request for the quote in writing, and was very attentive with follow-up. I've not pursued this due to a change in personal circumstances, but if I do, I will definitely call Steve again.

I was very impressed with the way that Steve addressed all of my questions and concerns. Every step of the way he asked if I had any questions about anything. I had another company come in to give me an estimate and he insisted that I should get the highest seer ac unit possible. After talking to Steve about it, he broke it down for me in terms of how long it would take for me to recoup the cost of the higher seer unit. I was surprised that he actually talked me out of getting the more expensive unit because it would not benefit me in the long run. Overall, Steve was very professional and had great communication throughout the whole process. He made a very scary process a lot more manageable for me.

It went great overall. He was prompt with getting back to me with a quote. Once agreed on the price and time he was prompt on time. The job was completed as promised and he actually provided some labor that was not part of the original project. He did a great job. Very conscientious, he wanted to make sure the job was done right.

This company gave me the best price and an ultra high efficient system. The guys they sent were professional and wore booties. The work went smooth, the installation was seamless. The experience was perfect. I did a lot of homework and this was the best fit for me.
