We called two different companies for an estimate. Both came out and did an on-site estimate, but Goyette is the company we decided to go with, based on their professionalism and promptness in returning calls and emails. We felt very comfortable they would do an outstanding job, and if we should have any problems, that they would follow- through promptly with needed repairs.
They arrived on site exactly when they promised. The first day, our salesman came along to introduce everyone (there were four men working all day). We had asked for a special placement of the generator, which meant running a new gas line. That, plus electrical work involved took two complete days. The men were all very professional, and friendly, answering questions and explaining exactly what they were doing and why.
A few days later, we realized the AC would not start, so called back. They had someone out within a few hours, who promptly realized that a simple switch was not turned on!
The next day, our salesman called to be sure we were satisfied with the work, and also explained that in going over the final details in the installation, there was one other issue that still needed to be addressed. One of the original men came back the next day and fixed the problem.
I would not hesitate to recommend Goyette Mechanical. Now we are just waiting for the first power outage...

It could not have gone better. Aaron the electrician was on time every day, very important to me since it was not my residence being worked on, and I had to drive to it every day they were there. He was very conscientious and took obvious pride in his work. When an unexpected problem arose during the job, we discussed our options and came to a mutual decision on how to proceed. He even worked later than originally agreed one day just to make sure the job was done correctly and not rushed. Outstanding work.

Our 31 year old Rheem gas furnace gave up the ghost on 10/15/13. We immediately requested proposals from several providers. Goyette's was the most reasonable considering what we were buying, to the point that we were able to add central AC. Their crew, Anthony and Josh, arrived promptly at the appointed hour on 10/18, and worked eight hours straight, most of it in a 3.5' crawlspace. They were efficient, professional, and polite. They cleaned up all signs of their work, indoors and out, disposed of our old furnace to our satisfaction, and by 4pm we had a heat! They walked us thru the installation, showed us what needed to be done for owner maintenance and the operation of our programmable thermostat. They took our utility information and will be applying on our behalf for a rebate from Consumers Power. All in all, it went very well.

I called them on Sunday morning because I needed to have a new chimney cap. They came about an hour after my call to make measurements to build a new chimney cap. They had a new chimney cap installed by that Tuesday. I highly recommend this company to others.

Andy was punctual, responsive, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He did have to come back twice to clear out pipes as first snake did not work, but did take care of it by adapting his equipment. He did a great job and left everything clean.

The "salesman" was very unprofessional, very rude, AND his quote was A LOT higher than the company we went with. I will not ever take my families advice about calling this company again. On a positive note, I did find a very good company that we plan on using for our needs in the future!

I was not pleased with the price but he was here half a day so I think the price was comparable with other heating and air conditioning companies. They were fine. They were prompt and he cleaned up after himself. There was a flat charge just to come out and then they charged an hourly rate. I would hire them again if I had a stockpile.

Estimator was more of a salesman... that experience didn't go well for me and he missed some things when he and quot;inspectedand quot; my house to give me his estimate. However, I e-mailed their website to voice my dissatisfaction and a VP called me at home that very evening, and within an hour we'd made arrangements to make things right at little/no extra cost to me.
So, long story short, they may make mistakes but they seem to stand behind their service and their 100% satisfaction guarantee is for real. Also, their technicians and electrician are all very friendly and professional and do quality work.
I went from 0% satisfied to 100% satisfied, and I would recommend them to a friend after seeing how they stand behind their satisfaction guarantee.
