We purchased carpet that was sold as "mid grade" carpet for the upstairs. Not high end but certainly much better than apartment carpet. Salesman described carpet as very durable. We are a family of three so traffic is moderate.... Definitely not heavy. Especially since there are only bedrooms upstairs. After three months the carpet began to appear worn and frayed. Even though we vacuum 2-3 times per week. We called the store and the owner came out. He was annoyed with us from the beginning and basically insulted us by saying we should have bought better carpet. He even inspected our vacuum and spent several minutes inspecting every bristle on the roll. When i said we paid almost $2000 for three smallish bedrooms the carpet should wear better than this he just said "there is nothing I can do for you "
