It was a good experience and they showed up on time. I was pleased with their work. I contacted them because it was copper plumbing and I don't know anything about copper plumbing.

This was purchased through the Angie's list Big Deal. We were more than pleased at the thoroughness and professionalism. The technician examined the sink and tub drains and explained everything that he saw, what the possible solutions were and why. He even suggested a trial of common drain opener before replacing the trap, which would not have been easy or cheap (our home was built in the fifties and the basement was finished, covering the plumbing). We would definitely use this company again.

The person installing my new dishwasher broke a stem on a valve in the basement. I e-mailed Cregger on Monday and Derek responded on Monday evening. Derek came out Tuesday and fixed the stem. He also hooked up my water line on my new refrigerator. He changed a shower head and gave me estimates on several other issues that I have in my house that was built in 1939. Derek was very professional and he knew a lot about the fixtures I have in my house. I have had several plumbers in the past that wouldn't do work in my house because of it's age. I look forward to working with Cregger in the future.e on

The two guys that came to the house were pleasant, considerate, and personable. They were on time and fairly diligent, though I was disappointed in 2 things. First, I made an appointment with them the week before to come out and -- I thought -- repair the problem, but all those guys did was do the estimate, which they couldn't really do completely (they estimated low when compared to the final amount). Second, the cost seemed excessive, in the end. I would have guessed that this would have cost a little over half of what they charged, just based on time (even at $150/hour per person + materials). However, on balance, much of this cost theoretically will be paid by my homeowner's insurance.

Contacted Cregger on Saturday afternoon and asked to be scheduled for someone to come out and check drain in basement as water was backing up and gurgling sound coming from plumbing. After assuring them it was not an emergency, I was told someone would contact me on Monday to set up an appointment. On Monday, Cregger contacted me to do just that. We scheduled for the next day, Tuesday, at 4.00 pm. Shortly before 4.00 pm on Tuesday, the plumber called to say he was on his way. He went right to the drain line that needed work and snaked the line. When the first snake didn't do the job, he brought in the heavy duty snake and cleared the line. Everyone I dealt with at Cregger was professional and friendly. I would certainly call on them again should the need arise.

I love this company. They were one of 4 "emergency service" plumbers we contacted in order to have our septic pump failure situation addressed...and our home back in working order. Cregger has it right - they responded immediately, told us exactly when they would be there (the very next morning), phoned to say they were on their way - and asked if we wanted an additional phone call when they were 5 minutes out! Their serviceman was professional, qualified and courteous! He even reminded me to use the coupon in order to save a huge amount of money on his service call! We are very pleased with Cregger - and will definitely use them again! Thanks!

Used Coupon on Angies List ($200 worth of plumbing for $100) to replace a sump pump. Made appointment and plumber was on time. Went to work immediately and completed job in less than 1 hour. Was professional and cleaned up well. The final bill of $425 was not itemized. Therefore my final cost with the $100 saved on the coupon, was $325 out of pocket. Checking afterwards, the sump pump that was installed is available at many suppliers for $130 including either tax or shipping. He also used about 6 ft of PVC pipe, a couple of elbows, and a backflow valve. Total value of parts, about $150. That means the labor cost was $275 ($425-$150). Even if I assumed there was a $75 service call for just visiting the site, that still leaves over $200 an hour for very simple work. My opinion is that this rate is exorbitant.Caveat Emptor - my fault for using Cregger plumbing, a mistake that will not be repeated.

They went over all the options and pricing. I thought the pricing was very fair. They pumped all the water out of the basement. They were very careful and patient. They cleaned up very well and were very polite. They came out within 2 hours of me calling early in the morning. I was lucky that they came so quickly.

The service man was professional did a great job.

Excellent and timely service. We had a small leak in our mater bathroom tub drain. When the plumber came out to fix the job he did not have the appropriate tools to fix the job. He explained that he would need a second pair of hands to complete the repair. He made a temporary fix so that we could use the tub until he could come back the next day. He came back the next day with a second plumber at the exact time he had promised and fixed the problem promptly. We were not charged for the first trip out. The plumbers were prompt, professional, and very friendly. I would highly recommend this company.

They found the problem - a backup perhaps 50 feet away from the sink, and cleared it.

This was an overall excellent experience. I phoned in the am for an appointment in the afternoon (due to a dentist appointment) and I was given a 2-4PM time frame. I received a call approximately 2:15 and was advised that the plumber would be at my house within 40 minutes. Dave arrived at my house within the time frame given. Excellent! He snaked the sewer line quickly, did not make a mess and was very friendly and professional too. This is a company that I will use in the future. Thank you so much. Cregger's came out and snaked the line on Tuesday, which helped with the water backup. I then called the office to schedule the excavation work and to get the line replaced. They were able to come out first thing Thursday morning. They dug the trench, installed the new line, and filled the trench in and were done that afternoon. They cleaned up after they were done, and, aside from the dirt in the trench that needed to settle, the place was left in great shape. No more water problems!

Totally professional from first call to finish. They were prompt, neat and completely competent. They even were able to repair the tub faucets instead of replacing them which saved almost half of what I budgeted. Having used many different plumbers over the years, I can say they are on my "Keeper" list.

I spoke to the plumber before the job and after its completion and was satisfied that he did an excellent job. Our friend Kathy Shaw will also keep him in mind for her needs, as she met him at the time.

I called, they came, they charged, I paid. The problem wasn't the main drain but the drain from laundry that backed up once the washing machine discharged...I wish they would've used their heads to figure this out.

This company will call you before arriving, which I find is great, opposed to the window of time some companies use. They arrived on time, 3 guys, and a fourth, Derek arrived a short time later. Started work approximately 9:30 am, and completed the job around 4:00ish. They hauled away all the old stuff and cleaned up before they left. My husband and I were walked through all the work they did, and shown how to operate all the bells and whistles. The whole team was very professional. We had called 4 companies for estimates, 2 of which had not responded, and one gave us a lower overall price, but the detail of work in the Cregger's estimate was much better. I was comfortable going with the higher estimate because of the detail in it, as I knew the other estimate has missed things and I would have been charged for it at the end of the day. As your plumbing ages, you adjust to the decreased water flow, and the hot water not lasting as long. It was so nice to take a steaming hot shower with great water pressure and hot water that didn't run out. I can say that we'll be using them again for any plumbing/drain/sewer needs we may have in the future.

Total charges were $205 for less than 30 minutes work. No doubt they came on time, were courteous and quick in fixing the problem. But 205 dollars charge for less than half an hour of work? I read the reviews on Angieslist before calling them and unfortunately did not inquire about the prices while calling them. They say they charge by the item, not by the time spent. Gave me a discount of $25 for being Angies List member, bringing the total charges to $180. NEVER AGAIN WANT ANY PLUMBER TO BILL ME 205 DOLLARS FOR LESS THAN HALF AN HOUR OF WORK. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

The plumber arrived as scheduled and completed the job as required. His video camera/display was not working, so he returned the next day to run the camera through the line to check that the job was done properly.

The work was done over the course of two months. The first plumber did the needed work by installing a new garbage disposal and then looking at my bathroom faucet, admitted he had never seen one like it before. He tried to get it back together(apart due to my husband's efforts)and it was in working order when he left. It quit shutting off about two weeks later. I called back and asked for a more experienced person so a different plumber came out. He said the shower faucet was a builder's grade unit and he could try to find a new part but, since the company was out of business, recommended a completely new faucet. I agreed that was the best plan. However, if I had gotten it at Home Depot or similar, I would have saved hundreds of dollars. The least expensive faucet they offered me cost about $400.00. I am confident it will last the rest of the time I live here, but so would a unit costing less. I will still call Creggars for plumbing repairs, but will make different decisions when selecting replacement parts. I know they prefer the premium units because they are truly superior but also they make more money for the company. But, "good enough" is sometimes a better option. I'm an adult, so I won't blame them for that, even though it would be nice if they would offer a more budget friendly choice that I didn't have to go buy myself. They didn't try to talk me into the choice I made....

My husband had a problem replacing an old faucet and hardware in our half bath and needed a plumber to come out to do the work. I checked on Angie's List and read the great reviews for Creggar Plumbing and decided to call. They were very professional and prompt. In fact, they came within 20 minutes of my call and fixed the problem right away. Richard, who was the plumber that came out, was excellent. He fixed our immediate problem and got us up and running again in short order. He gave me some great advice and when we are ready to remodel, or have another plumbing need, we will definitely use Creggar Plumbing again!

Overall, David was great. He was at my house within 30 minutes of calling for services and it only took approx 30 minutes to snake the kitchen sink. I was very pleased.
