With a three hour appointment window, the plumber called shortly after 9am and left a message. I returned the call less than 5 minutes later only to discover they left the house and would not return that day as I missed the appointment. REALLY? 5 minute delay and this plumber turns down business?!? Needless to say the $400 business went to Al's Plumbing in Detroit who completed the work that same day. Thank you Al's Plumbing and Creggar Plumbing, shame on your professionalism.

The original vent pipe under the kitchen sink had disintegrated, allowing foul odor to seep into the house. There were also several leaks under the kitchen sink from existing pipes and fixture. I purchased a 'Big Deal' for plumbing services, and Cregger promptly scheduled a service appointment. They called when the technician was enroute and he arrived on time. After determining that he did not have enough time to complete all of the work that afternoon, he set up an appointment for the following day when he had more time available. He arrived on time the next day and completed all of the work, including removal of the original pipe vent. All plumbing under the kitchen sink was replaced and a new fixture installed. He was very knowledgeable, professional and on time. I would absolutely use Cregger in the future for any plumbing needs!

Greg/Richard were very courteous when doing the estimate and all final work. We used a Angie's list deal of $119 for $200 worth of work which we knew we would exceed. The work was very professional and everything was cleaned up in all the rooms.

I called for service to snake a VERY slow draining bathtub. In the 10 years that I have lived in this house, I have had 3 different plumbers out to do this before and each one told me that because the vertical drop of the drain pipe below the tub was so short that snaking would never be very helpful and that I would always have a slow draining tub. Because I had recently found this company on Angie's List and had been extremely happy with a previous service call, I called them to come and attempt to snake the same tub drain. This time, the wonderful plumber who came out took me down the basement and very clearly and simply pointed out what was causing the problem and actually suggested a solution ! He came back 2 days later with an assistant and cut out the 70 year old drum trap and iron branch line pipe and replaced them. Bottom line - a 10 year old problem is fixed! Every aspect of this service was amazing. Scheduling the appointment was a friendly experience. Plumber showed up when promised. I was not charged for the original service call. Even though the second call (to do the repairs) was on a Saturday, I was not charged extra for that. They cleaned up remarkably well. And the plumber could not have been more helpful - or nicer. Overall - an A+ experience all around.

Proposed an amount to complete all tasks, and completed each in a professional manner, for agreed price. Would definitely use again.

Performed a numbers of plumbing jobs, fixed faucets leaks, garbage disposal, etc. One bathroom sewer was not cleaned though being the major item on the list.

The previous job made the repairman a little late, but all went fairly well once here. Upon our request, detailed estimates for future toilet and utility sink installation were given.

Was experiencing a drip through my ceiling downstairs in the area of the tub upstairs - the Cregger technician Greg found the leak immediately and fixed the problem. The work was completed in a timely manner and the service was great - I would definitely recommend them.

We had three leaking faucets that needed to be fixed. I looked for plumbers and came across an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased to have this work done. Cregger told me that they would be able to come out and address the problem. Unfortunately, they were several hours late arriving to look at the problem. Once they did arrive, they looked at the three leaking faucets and started fixing them. They had a problem with one of the faucets, in that it was old and parts were fused together, and the only way that they could possibly fix it could possibly have caused damage to the faucet. I agreed that I didn't want that to happen. They did fix the other two faucets. Additionally, because they couldn't fix everything that I needed, they indicated that I would still have credit on the Angie's List Big Deal that I could use at a future date. The work that they did perform has held out well to date. If they had been punctual or at least called to let me know that they would be late, I would have given them a higher review, but the lack of punctuality was a big thing for me.

Went great overall - I would recommend all there services.

I thought I just needed my drain snaked but it was a bigger job. Before they started work they put up plastic to keep down the dust. They jackhammered about 15 feet, replaced everything that was broken and pored in new cement. They took away all the broken pipes and trash. They even swept the basement floor and steps. The job was finished in one day.

All services were performed well with the exception of the hot-water dispenser which would require replacement. They quoted the replacement but were considerably higher than other options. The work was performed exceptionally well and the plumber was experienced and capable. I thought the pricing was a bit steep, especially for the drain work, but plumbing prices always seem high to me.

Did a good, quick job and was able to avoid having to damage the tile where the pipe entered the wall.

The man was really good. He adjusted the pressure in the toilet and repaired it properly.

The drains in our 1928 home were running slow and gurgling. The Creggar plumber came, realized he did not have the right equipment with him, so made an appt to return the next day. He came and spent 1.5 hours finding the sewer access, bringing over another plumber to help. They finally found it, and spent another hour cutting through huge tree roots to clear the way to the sewer at the road. They were at all times pleasant and professional. They kept me updated on what they were doing, and why, and cleaned up every trace of their visit before they left. I would use them again and would gladly recommend them to anyone I know. I was only charged for one visit and one plumber. Very satisfied.

Not repaired, no better off than when I started with the one valve that was replaced.

He was on time, very knowledgeable and very helpful. He gave me a credit for the time not used. I would definitely use them again.

Plumbers did a great job of removing and replacing the old heater. They were on time and very efficient.

It was a huge job, but Derek did it as creatively and beautifully as he has done everything in my home since I discovered him through Angie's List a few years ago. There is a chrome shield where the tile once were, but it looks fine and you can't really tell what happened there. I looked for someone who understood and appreciated older homes and older plumbing for many years before I found Cregger and Derek. I totally trust Derek and that's something unusual these days. You can be an artist whatever your profession and Derek is a plumbing artist!

Extremly well. Timely with excellence in their work patterns. They answer questions and give tips on alternative ways of doing things. I can not say enough good about this company. My technician was Richard. He was AWESOME !!! Both for the estimate and also for the work completion

He returned on October 23 and corrected the problem with the drain adding new pipes. He worked quickly and efficiently. He explained in detail what he had done and cleaned up the area. I was extremely pleased with the workmanship and the friendliness of Greg and would certainly call this provider in the future. I will give my highest recommendation to my friends regarding Cregger Mechanical Systems.

Called late in the afternoon and appointment was set for early the next morning Leak was found and repair to the leaking supply line was completed the same day. Toilet was reseated on a new wax ring.

The plummer arrived within a half hour of the begining of the estimated time of arrival which was appreciated. He was pleasant. He checked in my basement laundry room first because the floor was wet there. He told me if it were a fitting down there they couldn't fix it that day because he didn't have a PEX fitting with him and they would have to tear my drywall down. Then he checked my basement toilet because I didn't have enough water in the bowl. He moved a clip in the tank from one side of a pipe to the other and fixed that problem. Then we went upstars to the kitchen. He found the problem there under the sink, a pipe was leaking because a fitting was installed wrong. He corrected that and was done in about 20 minutes to a half hour. I was glad to have everything fixed with out having to tear walls down. I used my BIG DEAL coupon (119.00 for 200.00 worth of plumming) to pay the 135.00 charge leaving me a 65.00 credit. I have no idea what is a fair price because I have never called a plumber before but I know they are expensive, that's why went for the BIG DEAL.

I had a good experience as a plumber came initially to diagnose the problem. He gave me three possible scenarios and said he would work from to most expensive to fix it. Another plumber came to do the work, but he was on board with the plan. Plumber took care of problem and cleaned up after him.
