Plumber performed as expected. However, I called for some additional services and they were booked for the next several days. Not,exactly the response I was looking for when I had a backed up kitchen sink which needed to be resolved asap.

They were honest about needing to cancel because if it rains the treatment is not as effective. So we rescheduled for the following week. We were very appreciative because it was an expensive treatment and they could have done it anyway to get the money and get the job done but they were open and honest with us. They are courteous and clean. We won't use any other company.

They had a fantastic quick response. They came out the same day. They were very professional and they were able to fixed the leak!

Arrived on time, finished the job quickly. As for pricing, I can't compare it to other vendors because I didn't try any others - but with the coupon/deal available on Angieslist made it seem reasonable. Not sure if their pricing for Angieslist customers factors this in that most will opt to use one of these coupons and price accordingly, but in the end I feel the price was reasonable.

Duration of work involved was not understood/scheduled by office properly - had also wanted installation of customer supplied 3 filter reverse osmosis system to replace an old one. Because of bad scheduling, there was no time to do it. I can't afford to pay for another service trip to my home - this last installation will have to wait.

Had some scheduling issues and wasn't initially happy with the service and the amount I was charged, but the owner resolved the issues with me.

This is the second time I've used Cregger, and I will use them again. They are very courteous and punctual. Bottom line, they do what they say they're going to do. The tech that came out was very knowledgeable and performed the work quickly.

The representative was punctual; however, he almost immediately told me there was a problem with the job. On closer inspection of the plumbing (under the sink), he stated the seal from the garbage disposal to the pipe was torn and would have to be replaced. He quickly added the garbage disposal would have to be replaced (I purchased it for approximately $175-$200 one year ago) because (he said) you cannot purchase the rubber seal independently. He stated he would have to reschedule the appointment because of this problem. I quickly told him I would go up to Home Depot myself to get the part (and I asked him for the torn part). I actually installed the garbage disposal myself and did not want to pay another couple hundred dollars. When I went to Home Depot, the salesperson laughed when I told him I needed a new garbage disposal because of the torn seal. He told me, "You are being ripped off by the plumber" then went on to show me where to find the rubber seal at a cost of $1.35. I purchased the seal and returned home surprised by this experience. Turned out the plumber was surprised that I could purchase the piece he needed; then went on to finish the plumbing under the sink. Part of the initial quote of this job was to connect (or re-connect) the dishwasher to the plumbing as I told the plumber that the dishwasher was not working properly almost since I had purchased it.. The plumber - after a very brief look told me the cabinets would have to be removed along with the counter top because the person who installed the dishwasher threaded the connection through the kitchen cabinets (???? I told him this was not the case as I had my handyman install the dishwasher (again, a couple years ago which is when I purchased it) to the plumbing and actually helped him as he made the connection under the kickplate of the cabinets. He had little to say, however, nothing was done with the connection to the dishwasher. After the plumber was finished, I had him look at other projects which, I felt, were quoted very high. Although,I was satisfied with the one piece of the job he did, I felt frustrated and felt each job quoted turned out to be MUCH MORE INVOLVED than I felt it should have been based on my personal knowledge of having some of these tasks done in the past. Thankfully, I have taken a "hands on" approach to projects when contractors were hired so that I had an idea of how things were taken care of for this very reason. Needless to say, I will not utilize this company for further projects

Had Cregger Plumbing and Sewer come to fix leak at bathtub faucet and replace the water heater. Had few issues but they did come back and fix the problems. Very prompt, polite and cleaned up nicely after work was completed.

I woke up to find standing water around my basement floor drain. The receptionist was very polite and said someone would be out today, and she even gave me a rough estimate of the price over the phone without my prompting, which was helpful. They called me back just a couple hours later saying a technician was en-route and would be there in 20 minutes. The access port was in the bathroom on the finished side of my basement so they laid down tarps to protect the carpeted area between the stairs and the bathroom. They snaked it out within 10 minutes, using a VERY large snake - about 2" in dia and about 75' in length, which looked much more heavy-duty than the one I remember the rotorooter guy using a few years ago. They cleaned up the roots and mess that they pulled out of there and were done within 30 minutes total. I felt the price was fair.

The plumber arrived earlier than original time given (which was a great help since the kitchen & basement had a flood). He was courteous, efficient, and helpful in completing the plumbing problem.

My son needed a hot water tank after it was determine that during his home inspection. Contact Cregger plumbing. Derek from Cregger showed up on Thursday and was very helpful on explaining how the hot water would be installed. Mark from Cregger Plumbing showed up on Friday morning an did an excellent job on replacing our Son's hot water tank. Not only was Mark very professional he also did an excellent job with cleaning up after the water tank was replaced. I want to Thank Mark and Cregger Plumbing on the outstanding job that was performed on the hot water tank replacement. I will pass on Cregger Plumbing to family & Friends for outstanding plumbing services. Thanks again Cregger Plumbing & Sewer......

I recently hired Cregger to snake out the main sewer line at my home and was quite pleased with their work. My utility/laundry room was also backing up with water and sewerage. The technician (Dennis) was kind and very professional, he studied the situation and carefully described all of the options. He cleared out the main line and was able to clear the back-up. He also gave me lots of good advice about ways to prevent future back-ups. The work was excellent and greatly appreciated!

Originally I had contacted this company to properly run my sump pump drain to the exterior of the house as opposed the sewer. Once the plumber came out to perform the work we learned this could not be done cheap, which was made clear to me could be a possibility in the estimate. The plumber arrived to the job without the equipment needed to install the shower faucet because of a mix-up on the order, which was really my only complaint which caused the job to take quite a bit longer. The plumber was friendly thorough, and helpful. Overall I would recommend their services.

IN ABOUT AN HOUR HE HAD THE DRAIN CLEANED OUT AND WORKING NORMAL . THEY HAD IT ALL CLEANED UP AND WERE SHORTLY ON THEIR WAY . I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN WHICH I DID FOR ANOTHER JOB .

HE CHECKED IT OUT AND WAS ABLE TO USE HIS PLUNGER TO DISLODGE THE BLOCKAGE IN THE DRAIN .

My basement has a toilet and a kitchen. When running water from the kitchen or flushing the toilet, human waste emerged from the sink in the bathtub. In addition, toilet would not flush and water kept rising until over poured on the floor. I bought coupon from Agnie's list of $119 for $200 of Plumbing Services from Cregger Plumbing and Sewer hoping to fix the situation. During the first visit, Greg the plumber checked the basement. He said the problem came from the lack of exits in the pipes under the kitchen sink and the toilet sink, which caused no pressure to keep the water and waste down. He recommended to install 2 valves for an additional $75. He came and installed the valves one week later. After that we flushed one snd it seemed ok. We does not use the toilet in the basement after the repair at all. However, when we did 2 months later, the same problem recurred. We contacted Gregger and they sent another person. That gentleman checked and said he will return later because he did not have the right equipment to investigate. When he returned a week later, he found a bigger problem in the layout of the pipes in the basement that caused the waste from the bathrooms upstairs to "push" the wastes backward to the toilet and bathtub in the basement. He estimates the repair will cost over $3,000. I was very upset not because of the big problem in my basement but because the first repairman trying to sell me things that did not fix my problem. If he just tells me about the fraud plumbing layout up front, I at least can decide whether to spend the big money or not doing anything, but not spending another $75 for nothing. I gave most of the rating "D" because of the second gentleman who was professional to pinpoint the root cause and told me all facts.
