Great, as we expected. Day after treatment we did not see any bees and ditto for the balance of the summer.
I will not hesitate to have them back this Spring to re-treat the areas again, to be certain we have no hatches and be done with the Yellow Jackets. They were very careful around our pets with the chemicals and concerned with our welfare as well as our dog and cat. I was most impressed!
"First I would like to say that we always have staff in our office to answer the phones from 830-6 pm Monday through Friday and 9-3 on Saturdays. Getting a hold of us and speaking with our staff is not NORMALLY any problem. **When this customer was working with us (mid-june) we unfortunately were 1 sales/phone person short AND we had a technician quit with NO notice (never happened to us before) so the owner (Myself) had to be out of the office doing field work (because we were booked 8 days out and could not afford to miss these appointments or get them rescheduled) SO, at this specific time we were severely short handed and It took a little extra time to communicate with our customers who had called in and left messages. THAT BEING SAID, this customer was given an inspection, we determined it was squirrels, had a trap set up 3 days later, we then proceeded to remove 4 SQUIRRELS from the property within an 11 day period (with only 2 follow ups to rebait the trap, first squirrel caught 6/19, last squirrel removed 6/30) and when we were confident all the squirrels were removed from his home we sealed off all the openings to prevent any future entry 7 days later. (all documented) If our office did not respond back quickly enough to any messages left I apologize but we were in an unfortunate situation this past June, but we did remove the squirrels once they were caught within the state guidelines and sealed off the openings. I find this review to be very unfair. We always do the best here to make sure our customers are happy."
"Our service calls are booked by appointment (1 hour windows) and company policy states that if the technician is going to arrive beyond the given time they are to call the customer to inform them OR call the office to let us know and we will call the customer....the technician in question was seasonal help and had received 2 warnings prior for violating this. He was fired shortly after this incident (3 days) and is not eligible for re-hire. I apologized to the homeowner, this is not how we do business."
When "price shopping" for a mosquito program, I noticed that CJB was on the high side compared to their competitors. Although I am frugal, I'm not always immediately turned off by high prices as long as you feel you are getting what you paid for. I called three different companies to ask about the service they provide. CJB was the most informative and seemed like they would do the best job so I signed up for a one time application just to see how it would go. The thought being - if they did a good job, I would sign up for the rest of the summer. After our very first mosquito application I am very pleased! The tech, Shawn H., was very thorough. He understood that I'm not a big fan of chemicals and my request to not apply the solution to the lawn and due to this he spent extra time spraying our perimeter which is woods. We saw a major difference in pre mosquito application and post application. Pre application we were getting eaten alive! I am very impressed with the outcome and will be signing up for the rest of the season!
After we scheduled the mosquito application we noticed we also had a carpenter ant invasion. Since CJB was already scheduled to come out for the mosquitos we asked them what programs they had for carpenter ants. Based on what we were seeing we went with their carpenter ant control program. Here again, I am more than pleased with the outcome! What they applied and the way they applied it has made a difference! And once again, I witnessed thoroughness in the job done.
For me, I would rather pay more and get what you pay for. If you're the same way, I would highly recommend CJB!
CJP Pest and Mosquito Control were okay. They were able to come before anybody else and they get it done immediately.
