From initial meeting and project quote, to scheduling, to completion of the actual project, I could not be more pleased with our experience. Tom was the 3rd contractor I met with on our proposed project. He was on time, professional, clearly knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to our long-term goals vs. trying to oversell something that was really not practical for our needs. I have managed many subcontractors across varied projects, both professionally and personally. My experience with Wire Works ranks among the very best. I had ample communication from Tom's staff leading up to the installation day to make sure we were in alignment with project scope, costs, and scheduling. The day of, Tom and his crew arrived on time and he took time to go over the project with me before getting to work. I then left for work myself and did not return until the evening, trusting that all would be ok. It was more than ok when I returned. I could not even tell anyone had been in my home, but the project was completed exactly as planned and anticipated. There were no hidden costs, no unexpected surprises to deal with, no mess to contend with after the fact. Just new lights exactly where they should be, working exactly as they should, and upgraded service waiting to see this 1926 house into the next century (with air conditioning!). Highly recommend!

It took several days to get the work done from first contact to the actual work. Two-man team arrived about 30 to 40 minutes late for installation appointment. Work done was well explained and efficiently done. I have no complaints about the actual work. I do think the amount charged, agreed to beforehand, was exorbitant. For some reason I had difficulty in finding an electrician who would answer my telephone and email inquiries. Is there a shortage of electricians? I would hire these guys again, but only if I couldn't find someone who would do the work for less money.

They were available to come same morning (had a cancellation), showed up on time. Service guy was very nice, saw my situation, told me what the expensive way to fix it would be, then worked with me to find a more affordable fix. Involved repairing wiring to pump, located in a sewage basin. Pump was OK. Went from an $800+ job to $140. What a relief! Wouldn't hesitate to call them again if I needed. Seemed completely trustworthy. Did a good job cleaning up after himself at the work site. ONLY complaint was he left an 18 in. piece of wire on my front lawn by his truck that would have been a real problem if I had hit it with my lawnmower. Darn lucky I found it. That's why I gave a B. I should mention, I meant to call them & let them know about it, but got busy & forgot, then felt it was too late. I DO think at the least they would have been very apologetic.

Tom was incredibly helpful, fitting us in around another job. We had a last minute emergency need to replace an outlet and remove another before some other work was done in our house. Tom kept us updated on his ETA, worked quickly and was super professional. His customer service rep was also very helpful.

Everything went very smoothly. Peter kept us informed as he worked - made helpful suggestions - cleaned everything up before he left. We have used WireWorks before and would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

Becky at WireWorks was able to contact Tom, one of the electricians, out at a jobsite that was nearly complete, and they were able to coordinate picking up additional electrical components and arriving at the farm in just over an hour and a half. Tom was completely prepared for the situation, with tall rubber boots to work down in the excavation trench, the appropriate splicing kits for the cables, and extra cable lengths to replace the broken sections of the runs. He even had the proper breaker available in the truck when we discovered that the large main breaker (an older and somewhat obscure brand) in the barn had failed. He gave credit to Becky for the foresight to have one of those breakers in the truck. Overall, Tom was very professional and personable, prompt, and efficient. He was also extremely careful in the identification of the wire ends and the execution of the splices, and the protection of the spliced ends of the wires from the underground elements (water, shifting soils, etc.). In the process of examining the systems to identify the wires properly, he was also able to give me advice on how my available service amperage and breaker box capacities could be expanded to allow for barn and house additions that are being planned without the whole system being upgraded to a higher amperage service. All in all, an excellent experience.

Tom (assisted by Peter) did a fantastic job. They showed up on-time and worked through "one of the most difficult" installs Tom has been a part of. It took a little longer than they thought it would initially (multiple issues with routing the line - not their fault), but they stayed within their original estimate, even though I suspect the job had the potential for additional charges. I will definitely use WireWorks again.

Tom was very helpful by making a suggestion to change the outlet from 15 amp to 20 amp. We tried that on our own and it solved the problem. We would definitely call WireWorks for any electrical work in the future.

Very pleased in all respects. Tom called in response to my initial phone inquiry next day and came out that same day to provide a detailed estimate which arrived by email a few days later. His prices were about the same as those of another (bigger) company which couldn't make room for me in their schedule. Tom completed all the work along with two of his associates in one day about 10 days after I agreed to the deal via fax. Outstanding service.

Excellent, quick and good value.

The job went fantastically. I am updating the wiring in my farmhouse built circa 1900 that had the pleasure of containing what looks to be the first generation of aluminum wiring. So, my 4 outlets in the bedrooms upstairs just weren't cutting it. I called Tom in to take a look and this is what we came up with: We'd be able to add outlets to the bedrooms so that there's more than one per bedroom (It came out to a total of 10). We'd be able to also add overhead lighting and the light switches for those to get just all around better lighting up there without relying on lamps everywhere. He'd also be able to fix the lighting situation in the hallway that was just relying on one light, and leaving the hall around the corner dark by using two fixtures instead. We also asked him to put in a recessed LED light at the bottom of our rather dark stairs so people would stop missing the last step and fall down them. And then we showed him the bare live wire the previous owners had left in spots in the walls and spaces that they were probably attempting to burn the house down with. Through this entire process, he took it in stride, and gave us different options based on what things would cost, time, and difficulty. He really wanted to make sure we got done what we needed, with a way that would work, without breaking the bank. With the age of the house and what we were looking for, he definitely had his work cut out for him. He quickly was able to schedule us in, and brought two more gentlemen along with him on the day of the project. They showed up promptly, and started early in the morning. Then they proceeded to go non-stop for the next 10+ hours. They moved through the list of tasks with precision and care. One of the lights, Tom warned us would be difficult to put in and he wasn't kidding. Watching him go through the process to get power to where he needed it... yeah. I'm glad I called him in. In fact, there was so much to do, they weren't able to finish it all in one day, and Tom ended up coming back again to finish it all up. But in the interim, he made sure we had lights where we needed it. The second day was used for getting the breaker panel cleaned up and the generator interconnect put in with an interlocking switch. Through it all, they were quick, personable, professional, and took care with everything they did. I'd hire them back without question and will be recommending Wire Works to anyone else that needs an electrician.

Perfect: Tom answered calls promptly, was on time for estimate and job. He explained everything in advance, discussed options and answered all questions. The men with him were professional and personable as well. The job was completed in one day, this included the outside work. They took extra time to move the line out of sight and checked everything twice before they left. They also left my basement area they worked in, cleaner than when they got here! I love my new fan with remote. Wireworks will be doing some additional work for me for a generator in the future.

One of the best home maintenance projects I have had done at my home! Tom was professional, courteous and extremely helpful throughout the project. Tom and his crew of 2 did an outstanding job. They were on time and on task throughout the day, finishing the job in the same day. All were friendly and courteous, and the job site was cleaned up and returned to the original condition. I would highly recommend Tom and will definitely use Wireworks in the future.

Tom & Pete were very professional very nice people. They did everything I needed plus a few things as they found some of what I had had been damaged. Tom went with the original quote rather than adding the other items needing replacing. Which I greatly appreciated as I did not know. I definitely will have them back in fact I already have asked them to come back and do some more light fixtures and switches that I need done. They did a really really good job I have had electricians before in the past who did not live up to the standards of today. Tom & Pete were awesome very knowledgeable and upgraded all my electrical to the current standard I am very pleased. They were courteous and respectful of my home. They were also very prompt and right on time.

The work went very well, I called on a Saturday afternoon and received a call back early Monday morning. The next day he was available at a time that fit my work schedule was that Thursday so we scheduled it out. He was actually running ahead of schedule that day and called to see if I wanted him to come out any earlier, so we moved the appointment ahead a half hour. Once he got there, I walked him through, showing him the issues that I had, he knew that the work would only take around an hour so I went ahead and had him do the work. Everything went great and all of his work seems very solid. I do have another project that will take a little more time, but I will definitely call WireWorks again when I am ready for that work to be done.

Tom responded to my phone call within 24 hours, and he arrived promptly when he said he would. He asked me a few questions, checked the fuse box and the outlets in the laundry area, and then quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. During this time, Tom was exceptionally friendly and informative. I would hire him again without hesitation.

Tom was very professional and friendly while he corrected a mess that was made by an obviously inexperienced person. He rewired the switches and connected a hanging light in the dining room.

Tom and his apprentice Peter did a fantastic job. It took a bit for Tom to fit me in his busy schedule but after seeing the quality of his work and his professionalism, its no wonder he is in such high demand.

I would not hesitate to hire him again for my electrical projects and plan on being a repeat customer soon! Thanks again Tom and Peter!

It was a fantastic experience! The owner actually came down to perform the service, and it was beyond my expectations. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable about electrics and incredibly patient. I would highly, highly recommend this business. 

Tom was excellent, he returned my email the same day and came to do the work the very next day. He kept me constantly informed on when he would be able to get to my house as I had to leave work to let him in for the repairs. Once he got there, he was able to fix/resolve all issues very quickly, walking me through what he was checking and explaining how the issues came about. Very knowledgeable and professional, I will absolutely call him for any future electrical work.

Attempted to contact to rewire an outlet for a new stove. Voicemail says to email, still haven't received a response to my email.
