I would not hesitate to have Tom do more work for me. He is extremely professional and it is careful about his work. He cleans his work area after completing his work.

I've had Tom out for two different service calls, each for installing light fixtures and outlets.  There's a reason he's so popular on Angies list... He's professional, knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, reasonable, and efficient.  Couldn't ask for more!

Work was completed on a Tuesday and Thursday of the same week.  I was pleased with the work, clean-up was excellent, and he started/completed work as promised. He worked with the building inspector and everything went well. I would not hesitate to recommend Tom for electrical work - or bring him in for my next project!

I saw Tom's great reviews on Angies List and picked him.  Among many things, I enjoyed his professionalism and attention to detail.  He spent a good day doing the work and answering all of my pesky questions and also providing some great advice.  I plan on using Tom again in the near future for several projects. He's a great pro.

We own a duplex that has two walk-out studio apartments and in which we live with our extended family. We have been doing major repairs to the entire home, and it was time to update the electrical to ensure a safer environment in which we would have room to accomodate today's increased electrical needs. So, I came here to Angie's list for some advice because I had no idea who to call for this really expensive and important work. WireWorks Inc was a recommended company, so I decided to contact them. My call was returned immediately, and the owner, Tom, came right out to do an estimate. Based on his estimate (he gave us a 10% discount for finding him through Angie's List), professionalism, and knowledge, we decided to hire Tom, and made arrangements for the work. Because we were doing other renovations, we had to ask Tom to wait several months before we could get to the electrical, and he was perfectly fine with that.

When I called Tom to schedule the work, he was on vacation with his family in Florida, but he took my call immediately and gave me an approximate time he'd be able to do the work - which was actually the time that we settled on when he returned. On the day he started work, he was in telephone contact with me to let me know exactly when he would arrive, which I really appreciated. He arrived, got to work immediately, and did not leave until we had full power back. He came at 8:45a and didn't leave until almost 9:00p to make sure we had electricity and all was well.  The next day he returned at 8:00a and did the other panel, remaining on the job until it was completed at about 11:00p. He was willing to return the next day if we had not been okay with him working late, but we were eager to get the work done before any bad weather set in, so we were very happy he was willing to work that late to finish the job.

Tom took out the necessary permits and arranged with the inspector and me for the inspection. It ran quickly and smoothly with just one or two minor things he needed to do (for example, a certain type of screw was necessary on the outdoor panel). He got all of that done with in an hour of the inspection.

Tom is very easy to work with - energetic, friendly, and engaging. He keeps a very clean workspace and changes into his "indoor" shoes to avoid making a mess on the floor. He works quietly and quickly. He was very clear about when the power would be off and for how long, making it easy for us to plan. Since we had the work done in the middle of winter, we needed to have the heat on.

His pricing was really excellent! When I showed the estimate to our contractor who was doing other work, he said it was a very good price that he really couldn't match. That was quite an affirmation of the price Tom charges for his excellent work. I have Tom's company WireWorks Inc on my list as my electrician. I wouldn't think of looking elsewhere.

Mr. Mullaney was courteous enough to give me a call to explain that he was waiting for the electrical inspector at his current job.  He said he would arrive twenty minutes later and he was right on time.  He is very personable and professional; took off his shoes before entering.  I called him the next day and asked him a question about the work he had done the previous day and he was very helpful.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience.  From my first telephone contact with him, Tom was polite, professional, and patient.  When he came to my home, he was no different than over the phone: polite, professional and patient with my dozens of questions.  He was forced to arrive approximately 15 minutes after our appointment time due to a significant overnight snowfall, but he contacted me to let me know that would be the case.  Appreciated that!  He gave me several options for solutions and quoted me a price before beginning the work.  The work was done quickly and much to my satisfaction!  Even better was that the final price came in $60 under his initial quote!  I will definitely use Wire Works for my future electrical needs.  In fact, I'm already planning my next project, and you can bet I will be using Tom for it! 

Two other items of note:  I am a single female homeowner, so I am very skeptical of any type of service-people.  I never once got the impression that Tom was trying to take advantage of me.  I found him to be honest and upfront.  Very refreshing!

I also appreciated that Tom respected my home.  Without having to be asked, he removed his shoes upon entering!  This may seem like a little thing, but it speaks volumes about the serviceperson.  It makes a great first impression, to say the least.

The serviceman arrived at the house less than an hour after my call.  The service was completed very professionally and in a reasonable amount of time despite discovering an irregularity in the ceiling that required an extra fix. Everything was cleaned up after the work was complete.  

Tom is a true professional.  He arrives on time, describes in detail how he will fix the problem and completes it on time and on budget.  We will definitely use his services again. 

He did exactly what he said he was going to do on the telephone when we talked. The work was done very well and professionally; he was very punctual and on time and took time to get it done the right way. I was very impressed with him and appreciate his work.

Tom did a very clean and professional job, while still taking the time to be friendly and personal.  He explained all of the options to handle our problem, and then went through the process step-by-step with us before and during the job.  He worked quickly and efficiently, having the new outlet cut, installed, and working in about 90 minutes.  He also took the time to show us the early damage on the original wiring so we would know what we had been dealing with before the fix.  We've had no problems with the electricity in our kitchen since.

Tom was also willing to look at an issue with one of our wired fire alarms while he was at our house, covering up the excess wires we'd been unable to identify so that they wouldn't be a hazard when we replace the alarm.

The entire job took just short of two hours.  Hourly rates and costs for materials were very reasonable.  We would definitely call him again if/when we need more work done.

Tom Mullany and Wire Works are top notch.  Tom works with you and problem solves to keep costs down and fit your need for electrical work.  He arrived on time and was extremely professional and flexible with my rental home electrical work.  I would hire him again without hesitation.

This was my first experience with hiring someone from Angie's List.  It was a good one!  I contacted Tom and explained what I was interested in and made an appointment for him to see if it was feasible.  When he came over and I met him I was immediately stuck by his personable-ness.  He looked at the area where I wanted the light installed and said it could be done and we agreed on a price, which I thought was fair...so, I searched no further.  After all, he is the top rated electrician on Angie's List.!  Within a week of my initial contact, my light was operating.  OK...there was a little glitch.  I didn't explain clearly what kind of light I wanted installed and when we arranged to do it Tom asked if I wanted him to pick up the light fixture or would I do it myself.  I asked him to get it for me.  Well, what I wanted was just a flood light I could turn on and off, what Tom brought was a motion sensor light.  But  that was quickly taken care of.  I have already made a request to have Tom do more electrical work in our house and have asked him if he is interested in making an electrical bid for a small addition we are planning.  Tom is competent and skillful "a measure twice before you cut" kind of guy!  He also explains what he is doing or what is involved with any potential project.  He satisfactorily answered all my questions.  He has good ideas about different ways to accomplish a task.  He's punctual and did a good job of cleaning up after he finished.  I appreciate his professionalism and wish him all the best.

Tom did a great job for us. I called him on Monday and he came out the next day. He had a prior appointment and told me he'd call before coming out to our house (which he did). He's very personable and knowledgeable. He took down the old lamp and put up the new one. I had also asked him about the light on our garage door opener which I'd tried to have fixed by not one, but 2  electricians we'd used in the past. The light kept going out, even though the bulb was new. Tom knew exactly what was wrong with it and fixed it for us. He explained why it kept shorting out and also suggested using a rough service bulb (something I'd never heard of).  I was so pleased to finally have that light fixed, esp. after 2 attempts by other electricians had failed to repair it.
I was so pleased with Tom and will definitely use his services and expertise for all our future electrical needs. 
He gave us an Angie's List discount which was an added bonus.

Overall I could not ask for a better guy and a better job.  It took only a few hours working together to get it taken care of.  This is the 2nd time I have used Tom for electrical work on my house and he will get all my business from now on.

He responded very quickly to my request.  He was very friendly and gave me an Angie's List discount.  There were three pieces that I was looking at, so he gave me an estimate for three projects.  He also gave me a discount on each one.  I am really pleased with my initial connection with him, but I haven't had the work done yet.  He pointed out to me things that I could fix myself as opposed to trying to grab whatever he could.  He was really fair.  His price was more than reasonable.  I mentioned to someone else that I was going to be doing this work.  He looked at the estimate and said that it looked like a very fair price.  It was nice for me to get feedback that the estimate that I had been given was really good.  I had not shopped around.  I take people by their words.  I just liked the way he interacted.  I got all the information including his e-mail.  If the work turns out to be as good as it seems it would, I think it's going to be fine.
