Limonoff, Dr. Jeffrey H.

I saw many doctors over the prior 5 years seeking relief for my back pain and sciatica. Dr. Limonoff was the first doctor to provide me with relief. He is caring, very accommodating, and skillful in successfully treating it when it sometimes flairs up again.

Great. My back will feel loosened up so I can do some mild stretching and progressively get the muscles back into shape.

Called office on a Fri. morning asking if they could "work me in" for an emergency visit.  Was told Dr. was swamped that day, but could see me on Monday.  Explained I would normally just deal with the pain through the weekend until Monday, but was going out of town on Sunday for over a week.  Lady in office said she'd check with Dr. and call me back.  She called within 5 minutes to say Dr. Limonoff said he would come back early from lunch so he could see me!  NEVER has that happened before--with ANY doctor!!
I continue to be amazed at Dr. Limonoff's commitment to his patients.  Also, the friendliness and efficiency of his staff.

Overall good experience.  Small improvement with back pain.  Four visits with Dr.  Doctor relunctant in accomplishing  exrays; questioned how you can treat without knowing what the problem is. Some improvement with 1st visit but no improvement the next 3 visits  Dr. is very open with communications but appeared to leave whether to exray or not up to the patient.

Hadn't been to a chiropractor in over 10 years so checked Angie's List to see if there were any favorable recommendations for my area.  Dr. Limonoff was a stand-out, so decided to give him a try.  Had to wait two days to get in but was told that was because I was a new patient and he would need more time for initial exam.  He did exam, complete set of x-rays (at my request), reviewed x-rays, and adjusted me on that day.  Dr. Limonoff was friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and answered all my questions.  He had me come back for a follow-up adjustment the next week.  (Many chiropractors want you back in a couple days, and three times a week after that.)  By the next appt., I was practically free of all pain.  At that second appt. he adjusted me again.  I asked him if I could review with him the exercises I was doing to strengthen my lower back.  He not only took time to listen, he asked me to demonstrate how I was doing them to make sure I had the correct form.   He gave me some additional exercises & then he demonstrated the proper form to me!  When the appt. was over, he said, "I really don't think you need to come back until YOU feel it's necessary!!"  Now, that is truly a FIRST with any chiropractor I've been to!!  Thanks to Angie's List members for a great recommendation.  Your reviews (both good & bad) do help us to make informed decisions.

Dr. Jeff is a wonderful chiropractor.  I've been seeing him for about 20 years and I always feel great after and adjustment.  My back tended to go out while I was pregnant and from carrying my kids when they were little.  Now I just need routine maintenance.  Dr. Jeff is incredibly professional and personable.

I usually see Dr. Limonoff roughly once every 4-6 weeks. He uses a treatment that is very effective for me, keeping my pain level at a minimum. I have been treated by other chiropractors, which often resulted in weekly treatments that really didn't give much relief. With Dr. Limonoff, I have only been needing a monthly adjustment...and sometimes not even that. When I do have a flare up, I normally do not have to wait more than a day or two to get in to see him, and quite often I can make a same-day appointment. He and his office staff are very friendly and patient oriented. I would highly recommend him for your chiropractic needs!

I would recommend him. He is very personable, he is very knowledgeable, and he cares about people.
