I've been going to Dr. Missy since I got my cats 13 years ago. The care and caring of every employee has always been exceptional. When my female developed cancer in her mouth about six months ago, Dr. Missy helped me decide a course of action. Rhody hated her vet visits, even though they loved and dissed over her. When the time came to euthanize her, Dr. Missy and her associate came to my house so Rhody wouldn't have to spend her last moments in terror. I can't tell you how much their kindness and compassion meant to me. They love animals as much as their owners.

I have used this clinic and these vets for over 30 years. Dr. Mary is excellent. I would refer her to anyone, I really can't speak of Dr. Missy because I stick with Dr. Mary. She is extremely caring and knowledgable. I would trust my pets life to her. I have boarded my dogs with her. Over the 30 years we have gone to this clinic we have had rabbits, birds, cats and dogs. The dogs have no fear of her. She is the only person that can cut one of my dogs claws. I have to had 2 dogs put down over this 30 years. She was extremely caring. The staff is also excellent and perform their job expertly.

They both are young veterinarians who are mature and up-to-date. They know when to refer to MI veterinary training school when that is the best options for my dogs. I would continue to use them in the future.

Our kitten is 8 months old and for family reasons, we decided we really would like her to be declawed. We recently moved and checked online for a vet, making an appt with Abbott Road AC. I have fallen-in-LOVE with the staff. Our very first visit we walked in and were treated like long-term clients. Cali, our tortie, is a rescued pet and I was concerned about how she might react to her first vet visits. No problem at all. Her nurses? vet assistants? were all soo loving that it was exciting for me to watch strangers love on her.

Once in our private check-up room (although ours was very small -- maybe there are larger rooms for their dog patients?) we waited maybe 5-7 minutes before Dr. Mary came in to see Cali. So Sweet and So Caring I was completely comfortable with Cali in her care. And, just before Dr. Mary came in, Cali was nervous and searching for a place to hide. Our nurse let her sniff and crawl around on the floor where she felt safe instead of keeping her up on the exam table.

So the main point - when we left her at the clinic for her declawed surgery I felt completely assured and relaxed about leaving our kitten. They allowed us to leave any toys and blankets with our scent on it for her during her stay and the food she's on. The surgery was on a Friday, so we needed to bring her in Thursday morning. This allowed the staff to play with her and gain her trust so there weren't strangers operating on her. She remained there until Monday morning, allowing her time to heal and rest and finish her little pain meds.

It was AMAZING care. When we arrived to pick her up the entire office knew Cali and it already felt like the staff was family! Transaction for payment was crazy smooth and fast. Dr. Missy did the surgery, and told us if we get concerned about any behavior while she's healing to call and bring her in, no charge. I'll always bring my pets here.
