They were backed up and couldn't make the initial appointment in the early morning and called and rescheduled for the next day. I waited for the provider for an additional hour to come and they never showed up. I never heard back from them and am not satisfied with this kinda of customer service.

They did a great job. They used bleach. It all works great now. They cleaned out the sulfur deposits and rescued my water heater from having to be replaced.

Very friendly-father and son both tried to walk me through finding shutoff valve for existing water line to save me a service call. It truly was inaccessible, but I very much appreciated the time spent with me. I would not hesitate to call them in the future.

It would very well. I received a call from the provider saying he had another plummer Gary that was close to me that had just finished and if that was OK if he sent him. Gary was very pleasant, he cleaned the drain and he let me know that the fawcet had to be replaced. So I went to Home Depot that was real close and he did it the same day. I will definitely call them when I need a plummer.

No issues - nice guys did a good job - no issues since.

Mr. Hairston seems like a very nice guy, however he also seems very busy. That means he does not have the best follow through. I have kept his contact information for future reference and he did apologize for the miscommunication that occurred.

Originally called for a drain clean out. They inspected and determined that the service was not needed. Very honest.

Hairston plumbing bettered their promised arrival time by a day to get us back to normal as quick as possible. Mr Hairston came out himself and was very kind and courteous. He was quick but thorough.

He was prompt and professional. The stack vent needs to be reconfigured to permanently fix the problem but he was able to temporarily solve the drain problem. We still need to get the stack addressed but will be calling Hairston Plumbing when we get to it.

Great - very fast service and professional employees

I called and I think I spoke to their mother and she said they are going to send their son. He came in and he was very, very rude. I don't know why he acted the way he did, but it was not good. With regards to his punctuality, he was on time. He was just unpleasant. I just remember his rudeness, and his abruptness. He didn't look at the sight that was messed up because it was a shower. I think he did give a price that was astronomical, and he was telling me that he could replace it out, but he wouldn't do it. He was really, really nasty. I could remember how he was, that is why I haven't called anybody else from Angie's List because I don't like that kind of behavior. He was very nasty, very rude, and very arrogant. I didn't like it. This is a new place for us. We are in the process of moving in.

This business needs to hire an office manager to take care of booking appointments and billing. They might have potential but are really disorganized.

I called after reading reviews on Angie's list. The woman who answered was extremely polite and kind and stated that she was his Mother and that she would give him the message to return my call. My drain in the basement backed-up and the smell of raw sewage was horrible. The basement was flooded and it was terrible. Mike returned the call after about 2 hours. He was extremely polite and offered to drop by on his way home, since he lived in the neighborhood. He came by and snaked the drain after giving me the price. My husband and I felt very comfortable and waited patiently for him to finish. After Mike finished, he cleaned the area and let me know to call if need. I would not hesitate to call again.

The Hairston Plumbing employees were so nice. Jay and Gary were the sweetest they explain what the process was once they saw how bad everything was They were very polite and professional I even enjoyed speaking with Mr.Hairston and his Mother and Father very nice people. If I have any more plumbing issues I will use Hairston Plumbing again for sure. Thank You so much for your help.

Hairston Plumbing came out to give us an estimate, but then failed to make an appointment with me to do the work, like he said he would. I called him and he told me he was going to get to me that same day, but he didn't come by or call me. I haven't heard from him and I don't consider him professional. I sat home all day waiting for him to come by and a phone call, at least, would have been nice. He was not responsive at all. I would not use him if he was the last plumber in the world.

The appointment went great Micheal is very friendly and did a great job.

Very polite, respectful and courteous. Did a great a job and cleaned up any mess from the project. They also told me some additional information about my furnace that I didn't know. They were on time and I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Called Mike this morning and he was very prompt and courteous on the phone. He listened patiently and made sure he understood the issues. Even though I live in Troy and he operates out of Detroit, he dispatched his crew immediately and Gary and Jackson were here within an hour. They finished all the repairs in an hour and also gave me an estimate to run a gas line for the dryer. Will have to schedule that to a future date as they didn't have some of the tools needed. They were friendly and focused on the job and left after cleaning and making sure everything was done to my satisfaction. Will hire again and recommend to friends and neighbors.

Michael from Hairston Plumbing contacted me promptly and we were able to set a time within a couple of days. Jay and Gary came to do the work and were on time, pleasant, courteous and professional. They did the work in a short amount of time, cleaned up and showed me what the problem had been I would use the company again..

All went well! Done right the 1st time.

Mike was great to work with to get thing worked into their schedule and they did a great job. Had a main sewing line draining issue that came up over the weekend. Got on Angie's List that day and found the deal that Mike at Hairston Plumbing had going. Worked back and forth on some scheduling and he got his guys out the next day. All great guys to work with.

I called this provider late in the afternoon. Message service related problem to owner, who quickly returned my call. Stated that a worker would be here within the hour and they did. Job was completed quickly, neatly and efficiently. Price was reasonable. Worker and owner were very courteous. Will definitely use this provider again and recommend them highly.

I did not fill out the form indicating best times to come out. He called within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. He said he could come out on the coming Sunday (2 days later, I believe), and he'd give me a call. This was very convenient (and surprising, given that it was a Sunday), and I planned for him to come out. That was the Sunday of one of the moderate blizzards delivered by a polar vortex, and as the roads got worse, he - understandably - called and asked to reschedule, which I agreed to. He said that he might be able to squeeze me in, but wasn't in front of his schedule, and would call me back. He never did. I called twice during the week, and left messages with his father, but he never called back. The third time I called, his father said he'd make sure I got a call-back, as he remembered me. I got a call a couple hours later, and he said that he might be able to come out on the coming Monday, but that worst case, he'd be there Wednesday, arriving between 11 and 11:30. He apologized for the lack of contact. He said he'd call me Monday to let me know if he could make it. Monday rolled around, and he never called, so I called him. He again apologized for not calling, and said that Monday wouldn't work, and that he would see me Wednesday. On the Wednesday, he came, examined the problem, attempted to shut off the water, told me that he would get me a quote on a couple of options, and to email him my contact information. I did so, and have received the quotes, which seem quite reasonable. No action has been taken yet. Will update if we proceed to work with Hairston.
