It went very well and I felt I could trust his advice. Mr. Joseph of TV Den said he could take our old TV away for us. We let him have the old TV for spare parts and/or recycling.

TV Repair
Mr.Joseph gave me a two hour window and he came within that window. I explained to him what happened I left the room and probably within 10 minutes he did what needed to be done. I felt the price was reasonable. No parts were needed. Mr. Joseph was very nice and polite.

TV Repair
It did not fix it and was informed that a power board would be needed. A few days later got a call that he wasn't sure if the power board would fix it and didn't want to be stuck with the part if he ordered it. Offered a refund of charges less the trip charge of $35.00. We took the refund and bought a new TV.

He was very nice about it and explained things to me while he was working. He gave the lamp a three year warranty. He has a great personality. He was very professional.

TV Repair
I have a four-year old Samsung 40" LCD HDTV, and the other day when I turned it on, its power light lit up for a second then went off. It did this on-off cycle for a few minutes, and then the TV finally turned on. Over the next few days, this behavior persisted. This morning I turned the TV on, and nothing happened. Several minutes later, the TV started the same "on-off" cycle, and after several more minutes, the TV magically turned on and stayed on. A new TV is *not* in my budget right now, and I recalled seeing a commercial for a tv repair company where they come to the home. Of course I hadn't written the info down, so I searched Angie's List. And sure enough, when I called TV Den, Larry said he did in-home service. I'm in IT and build my own computers, and from the TV's behavior, I figured it was the power supply. I was doubtful that it was really worth fixing the TV, but I thought I'd check it out, as there's a $35 trip charge only there's no repair work done. Larry said he'd be at my home between 11 and 1 today. Larry showed up just a few minutes after 11 and opened up the TV. Sure enough, there were two bulging capacitors on the power supply. Larry replaced them with higher-voltage capacitors and the TV powered up just fine. My TV was fixed in about 20 minutes, and for a whole lot less than the cost of a new TV. Further, I didn't have to get help to load it into the car, drive it somewhere and wait a week to get it fixed. TV Den also guarantees the repair for one year. I'm very pleased with TV Den's service!
