I should have kicked them out and find someone else. They shoveled off shingles onto my deck. They make marks on my siding. They put up the rows crooked. I paid for a lifetime warranty and it only lasted less than 10 years. I paid a premium a price but got a low quality job. They are bad news.

Mark Williams, the general manager for Sherrif Goslin in Grand Rapids, responded to my plea to help me with a leaking skylight.
He came over the same day I called. He repaired the seal and said since it was an easy repair, there would be no charge. He only asked that I call him when I need my next roof. I will gladly call Sherrif Goslin in the future for all my roofing needs.

Price was very high because the manager insisted on a complete tear-off
even though we only had one layer. His comment was that he wouldn't do
the job unless he could put his shingles on a completely flat surface.
We have a cottage style roof which required extra materials and labor.
The crew was rough and didn't protect our shrubs or windows but the
overall finished product was very good. After all was said and done, I
contacted the home office to complain about the way the crew behaved and
the attitude of the local manager that his crew was his business and
that he would pay for any damages done. The vice president of the
company personally called on me to hear and see the things I was unhappy
about and he promised that a crew would be back in the spring to fix
the things that we were not happy with. The overall experience was good
but not excellent.

For what they did, the price was a lot less than wht I was expecting. The crew was professional and hardworking, they showed up the time they said they would.

We had someone come to our house to give us an estimate. He gave us different addresses of homes that were in our area that we could drive by to see the different types of roofing that they offered. We decided to go with the company and within four days we had a team of four men come to rip off and then shingle our buildings. We have perennial gardens and the men knew how to avoid damaging them. It took them two and a half days to complete the project. We are very happy with the results. The roofs look great! This company offers a low-rate finance program which we took advantage of.

While we did not use the Muskegon office, we did use the Grand Rapids office. Our experience was fine, they were responsive in showing up for the estimate, showed up on time to do the job. There was a small leak around the satellite dish that was fized promptly. The only problem was the ridge vent. I was told the old ridge vent could be used, however during the winter after the new roof was installed, snow built up in the bonus room (unfininshed) above the garage. It cam in through the ridge vent. When I asked about replacing the foof vent, it was galdly done at no charge, but I had to supply the ridge vent I felt this was fair and I was happy to do. The other problem was I requested the opening in the ridge be sawed to the correct size since it was too narrow, and I was told that would be done when the ridge vent was removed and before the new vent was installed. It was not however done and for that I am very disappointed. The roof is great and looks good, I just wish more attention had been paid to opening up the gap between the ridge rafter and roof sheating to the proper size to maximize the air flow. A insptector for an energy audit pointed out that the opening was too small. The cost to remove the vent and open the space to the proper size will cost about $500-600 and a new ridge vent will need to be installed to make sure everything is ok. Unfortunatley there was no way to determine if the gap was enlarged before the roofers left. The energy audit did not take place until about 4 motnhs after the installation of the new ridge vent.

Mostly very well. They were fast, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I still felt the price was high, but maybe not. They did start later than they said. The workers were all courteous and careful of plants, etc.

I thought they were hard workers and did a good job of cleaning up. They came early and stayed up as late as they could. They are available if you need to call them for any problem whatsoever. We have a beautiful roof now.

Everything about this project went smoothly. Jeremiah arrived promptly for our first appointment. He was informative and friendly without being aggressive. After I decided to proceed, he returned for a second time to help me choose between shingle styles and colors. We actually drove around the neighborhood, looking at different roofs. I ended up choosing their proprietary "Art-Loc" shingle and the roof looks terrific. This is a heavily-wooded area and the 10-year algae warranty was an important consideration. There's also a 10-year workmanship guarantee against leaks, in addition to the manufacturer's 30-year warranty. The roof was finished in 2 1/2 days, as promised, by some really hard-working installers. Clean-up was excellent. No payment was required until after the work was completed and checked over. Moreover, there was no up-charge for the copper valleys, even though the price of copper had escalated after the estimate was given. Overall, one of the most satisfying home improvement projects I've ever undertaken.

They get right in and get the work done. They finished the work in about a week. Initially they installed the wrong color, but they were very good about ripping those off and replacing them to my satisfaction. They came a couple days late, but their communication was very good. They called me to let me know they were running behind, which I appreciated. I would use them again. They were more expensive than other quotes I got, but for the quality I got I think it was a fair price.

We discovered a leak in our roof this winter and were wondering who to get to do the job. We had heard about Angie's List in a TV advertisement, so I decided to check it out. We found Sheriff-Goslin's listing and gave them a call. They came out the very next day and found the problem and came out the next day and fixed it. They respected my lawn and spring bulbs that were coming up in the areas they had to put their ladders. Very professional. Very nice. Will hire them again if I ever have a need.

THEY WERE DEPENDABLE AND THEY WERE A FAST WORKING GROUP OF PEOPLE. THEY WERE REASONABLE WITH THE PRICE AND RELIABLE WITH THE RESPONSE TIME COMING TO OUR HOME.

THEY WERE RIGHT ON TIME. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. THEY GOT RID OF ALL OF THE OLD SHINGLES, SO WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO. THEY WERE ABLE TO MATCH THE SHINGLES VERY WELL. THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT, AND THEY ARE VERY TRUSTWORTHY. THEY ALSO DID THE JOB IN LESS TIME THAN WE HAD PLANNED. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO OTHER PEOPLE AND THEY WERE ALSO VERY SATISFIED.

THE ONE THING ABOUT THIS COMPANY THAT STANDS OUT IS THEIR NEATNESS. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB, AND THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY DIDN'T DAMAGE MY LAWN. I WILL DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN IF NEEDED.

THEY WERE ALWAYS SHOWING UP EARLY TO GET THE JOB DONE. THEY WORKED VERY FAST, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. IT MADE ME VERY HAPPY THAT THEY WERE RESPECTFUL OF MY YARD WHEN THROWING THE TRASH DOWN.

THEY TOOK OFF THE OLD SHINGLES AND REPLACED THEM WITH NEW ONES WITHIN ONE HOURS TIME. I LIKE HOW NEATLY THEY WORK, AS WELL. WE EVEN GOT A TEN-YEAR WARRANTY FOR THEIR SERVICE.

I HIRED THEM YEARS AGO WHEN I FIRST MOVED HERE AND I LIKED THEIR WORK THEN SO WE CALLED THEM AGAIN. ONCE AGAIN THEY DID A REALLY GREAT JOB. THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL. THEY WERE VERY NICE AND THAT REALLY MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE.

THE FINAL PRODUCT WAS WORSE OFF THAN THE ORIGINAL ONE WAS. IT LEAKED WORSE THAN THE ORIGINAL ROOF DID, ON THE VERY FIRST RAINSTORM, AFTER IT HAD BEEN REPLACED. I PLACE THE FAULT ON POOR QUALITY MATERIAL.

WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS IN MY FAMILY. THEY ARE ALWAYS RELIABLE AND THEY DO GREAT WORK. THE CLEAN UP CREW IS ALWAYS RIGHT ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. THEY ALWAYS IMPRESS ME WITH THE QUALITY OF THE WORK THAT THEY PERFORM.

THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB AND I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH HOW MY ROOF ENDED UP. THE ONLY THING THAT I DID NOT LIKE WAS THAT THEIR PRICES WERE A BIT STEEP.

WE HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM WITH OUR ROOF SINCE THEY CAME OUT. THEY STAYED FOCUSED ON THEIR JOB AND THEY GOT IT DONE VERY QUICKLY. WE PAID THE PRICE THAT WE WERE QUOTED IN THE BEGINNING.

THEY DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB. SINCE THEY HAVE LEFT WE HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH LEAKING AT ALL. THEY FINISHED THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER, AND CLEANED UP THEIR MESS WHEN THEY WERE DONE.

THEY WERE FINISHED IN A VERY GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME. I ALSO LIKED THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE RESPECTFUL. THE WARRANTY THEY PROVIDED WAS REASONABLE AND IT SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY.
