Great Dane Heating and Air Conditioning is your award winning Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer serving the Metro Detroit area since 1999. Great Dane was conceived by Mr. Josh Bigelow, with the idea that your service or installation experience should be worry free and focus on customer needs. As homeowners, too often we have heard of contractor experiences that were less than perfect or down right horrific. Therefore, Mr. Bigelow started Great Dane with the idea that everyone should be able to, “Experience the Service You Deserve!” This idea has evolved into not only into the company motto, but into the pillar of the Great Dane experience. Since 1999, the Great Dane team has successfully embraced this concept and integrated this philosophy to build one of this nation’s most highly recognized heating and cooling teams. Great Dane is the only Carrier Dealer in Michigan to receive the prestigious Carrier President's Award 8 times including 2018. Great Dane is also 1 one of only 7 North American Technician Excellence Quality Circle Contractors serving southeast Michigan.

Anytime a customer has another opinion that does not concur with our diagnosis we would gladly like the opportunity to come back out to re-inspect the furnace to confirm and show you the problem at no charge. Great Dane has the upmost confidence in our N.A.T.E. Certified and Heat Exchanger Expert Certified technicians. Our technicians use the most up to date technologies to provide an accurate diagnosis. "We are a bit confused. I know that we had installed your furnace and air conditioner last year, but I do not see that we installed or serviced your water heater. I do however see that we have your furnace and a/c maintenance scheduled for this coming spring. If there is something we can assist you with, than please feel free to contact us at your convenience. It seem like they really here to replace things, I didn't have this impression when I had my furnace done but when I had them come out on another house the guys was like oh I can't fix the air conditioner and oh if I inspect your furnace I'll just turn it off on you and I was trying to sell the house so I wasn't really please with that call.
It was like I had one impression of them when they fixed my furnace at my house and then it was like I call them out to replace the hot water tank at another house and this is just cause I had work with them before and then I got into the bid with oh your air conditioner can't be fixed and I might have to just shut your furnace off on you permanently and the repair man hadn't even been told about the hot water tank I had call to come out.
It was an expensive repair and I have a very small house and when they put it in it was like oh you need to have your air ducts cleaned and they referred me to some other company that wanted a really high price to do it, I started thinking it wasn't as good as I thought it could be.

"We apologize for the delay in restoring your hot water. We fully understand the inconvenience of not having hot water. Unfortunately, the problem had to do with a running change on the model of your water heater. The manufacture of your water heater had changed gas valves, and we inadvertently were given the gas valve that your water heater does not use. Therefore, the delay was created by the misinformation we were given. Fortunately, we were able to restore your water heater yesterday once we received the correct gas valve.
