Dry Cleaning Service
In March, Deer Lake Cleaners performed dry cleaning on a number of pieces of my clothing. After I picked up the items and returned home, upon inspection one silk Armani shirt had two large spots where the color had leached from the fabric. I returned with the shirt to Deer Lake Cleaners, where a staff member looked at the damaged item. He asked to keep the item overnight to show to the owner of the establishment. I agreed. When I returned a few days later to discuss the problem, no explanation was forthcoming. No apology was made, no phone call from the owner, no reimbursement for the cost of cleaning the item, no offer of replacement of the item was made. Repeat attempts to speak with the owners have been ignored.
