An excellent experience. Inspector showed up early and had already done the external inspection when we arrived. Went through every issue and answered every questions. Amazing level of attention to detail. Clearly differentiated between things to ask seller to do, things to pay attention to and things to know about. Written report was detailed and comprehensible. Would definitely recommend.

A friend recommended Davis Inspection to us, we worked with Doug Davis for our inspection. Highly recommend! During the appointment Doug walked us thru the entire home, explaining everything that he was including in his report and answering all our question as we went. He then provided a complete report (with pictures) which allowed us to confidently negotiate the proper price the home. We close next week!!

It went pretty good. The home owners weren't happy with the results and thought my inspector was exaggerating, and thought that he didn't know what he was talking about even with his photos to prove the problems. Some was minor, but the black mold and pest problem helped Us walk away from the home. The money spent was worth it.

As first time home buyers, we did thorough research and came across Davis Inspection Services with its many amazing reviews. We can honestly say that our expectations were greatly exceeded. Our call was taken immediately and professionally, and our inspection was scheduled for a couple days out due to our schedules. Our inspection was scheduled for 10am, and Doug and Craig were already on the roof by 9:50am when we arrived early. They took their time both indoors and outdoors, and provided us with plenty of information that we found extremely helpful as first time home buyers. Our inspection report was detailed and provided us with a bunch of leverage in negotiating with the sellers. Can't say enough about this company... They genuinely care about their customers.

This was my first home inspection so I really didn’t know what to expect. Doug was very patient and thorough. He took the time to point out and explain things. He was very candid about areas of concern and I very much appreciate that. The inspection and report are very detailed and easy to read. I would definitely recommend them!!

My inspection with Mr. Rick Davis was very informative. He is a very kind and educated professional. He informed me of the steps of the inspection and what to expect. He is very knowledgeable about homes and property. As he navigated and inspected the home, he was focused and organized. He pointed out and explained the major issues in a way that was easy for me to understand. His detailed reports and photos were very helpful. I was so happy to have him inspect my potential home purchase, and fortunately he saved me from a bad buy. Mr. Davis was at the property before we arrived. He spent about 15 minutes explaining what an inspection entailed and gave us options on how we felt comfortable with either following him through the house or him come get us to explain his findings. Mr. David was very thorough and detailed. He found issues but constantly stated that they weren’t show stoppers and which items were the most critical. Overall, we were satisfied with his work and attention to detail.

He showed up early and walked around the whole perimeter before we even got there! Then he walked around it again with us, to point out the issues he had found. He was very professional, detailed, and knowledgeable. Did a great job! The next morning we were emailed a color coded report to make it easier for us to see the immediate issues that would need to be fixed and the ones that could wait for a short amount of time. Would highly recommend!!!

We are very happy we had Davis Inspection inspect our current home prior to almost making some very costly (unnecessary) improvements. Ric was a pleasure to have inspect our home. We highly recommend! We've lived in our home for 12 years and wish we would have hired Ric to perform an inspection prior to upgrades 10 years ago. Ric explained his report in detail and has been available for questions after the fact. One thing not to overlook about Davis Inspection services, Ric will inspect contractor work (at certain phases of the project) being done on your home. Talk about peace of mind. Contacted Rick on his cell phone. HBe was pleasant an spke like he knew what he was doing. He referred me to Kathy in his office to schedule a date and time. He arrived a few minutes early, introduced himself and proceeded, non stop, with his inspection. He would occasionally stop by and share his comments with me. The follolwing morning, I received a full report with substanatiating photographs.. A very thorough and comprehensive report. I am seriously considering using him when I put my house on the market. I got more than I expected and presented in a very understandable and professional fashion. The promptness olf his report was a real benefit to me.
