After trying a new thermocouple and checking other possible faults they determined that the gas valve needed replacing. They noted that our heater was still under warranty and arranged to get the replacement valve covered under warranty. We have used Alexanders for many years for small jobs and extensive remodeling work, and in all cases the work has been completed promptly, professionally, and at a fair price. They are a real pleasure to work with.
