Garage door opener was on the fritz, called a few other providers from A.L., Up & Down was the 1st one that said they could be here today.  Tech arrived earlier than expected (which I was grateful for), took one look at the opener from the ground and told me what the problem was going to be, and sure enough, when he opened it up, he was right.  He installed the rebuild kit, tested it, and even lubed the door, rollers, springs and hinges w/o me asking for it.  Opener works great, and door and opener are exponentially quieter now.  Will definitely use them the next time I have a need for service.

There were some communication issues in the beginning - I submitted a request via the website and never heard from them.  I called three days later and was able to get on their schedule for the following day.  They were very good at keeping me update on arrival time.  The service tech was delayed at a site and they called to let me know which I appreicated.  The repair was assessed and quoted within 10 minutes and the work was done within 30.  He warned me of some work that needed to be done on my springs but said that they will probably last through the summer.  I will call them again to perform the future repairs.

Couldn't be better!  I called in the morning and they came out this afternoon.  Showed the tech the door, and he finished in 20 minutes. The door works great and is quiet as a mouse. Very pleased.

Team of 2 arrived on time. They called approximately 1 hour prior to arrival. They replaced the springs. Lubricated the door and hinges, adjusted the sensors and recalibrated the safety features. Great work. Was a little disappointed that they charged an additional 3.5% if paying by CC. Do not recall seeing this info on the website, but it may be there. Overall I would recommend them to anyone needing repairs to a garage door.

We called them Monday morning for emergency service and they came out at 1pm. The bracket that holds the garage door opener to the garage door came off. It was held on by glue and 2 small sheet metal screws. Apparently the bottom of the garage door froze to the cement and when we tried to open the goor the opener pulled the bracket right off the door. The technician was prompt and called ahead to confirm when he would arrive, they promised between 1 and 3 pm and called at 1230 and said they would be there 15 minutes early - that never happens with other trades people- the phone call and arriving early. He reinforced the top rail where the cheap screws pulled out and installed more substantial screws to hold the bracket. He did not try to upsell anything like some of the other garage door companies, he did the repair and for a reasonable price.

Scott was on time, very curteous, worked hard and got the job done quickly. He was already on the road when I started to try to program my car's garage door remote, but he turned around and came back when I called him for help - then he did it all by himself and was happy to help me out.
He cleaned and lubricated the existing hardware, and didn't charge me for any more than what was required to do a quality job. I highly recomment Up and Down Door.
