Matt was at least 15 minutes early and had already started the inspection. When I arrived, he circled back over everything that he had checked so far to make sure I knew exactly what he had inspected. Throughout the entire inspection, Matt was extremely thorough and made sure I had a comfortable understanding in each area of the house. Matt was on time, and was very thorough. He showed me what he was finding, took copious pictures, and provided advice on improvements for a lot of small things beyond just what was required. After finding some mold in the attic space, he offered air samples on the same visit. He was prompt in his report and the follow-up testing.

We hired Matt at Trademark from the recommendation of our Real Estate Agent for our home inspection and couldn't have been happier with that decision. Despite having a short time frame to schedule the inspection, Matt was very flexible. As first time home buyers, my boyfriend and I are not very handy (yet) and Matt took the time out to show us each item he was notating, describe the problem in a way we could understand, and offer advice on how to fix it ourselves. The report itself is a fantastic tool. He follows up with a written report, that includes photos of each item and detailed instructions that you can save and use at a later date. He even told us we could call him whenever in the future if we had any questions. I've heard lots of nightmare stories about the home buying and especially the home inspection process and Trademark helped make it as stress free and manageable as possible.
