It was okay. They didn’t come back and do the stump till August. They somehow didn’t realize that they were supposed to remove the stump. That was my only complaint. I think there were at least two when they trimmed the trees and took the pine down. They did work across the street and that is why we called them.

They did great work. I thought their prices were very reasonable. Over the phone I got quotes from 2 places that were kind of big guns and they were comparable for a company that is bounded and insured and that does not force you to pay up front.

I called to make the appointment, and made it clear that I needed the tree removed before having my driveway sealed 2 weeks later. He said that was no problem at all, and said he would stop by within a day or two and call me with a quote. Three days later, he did not call but left a message in my mailbox with the price. I should have known better, but I scheduled the tree to be removed on a day when I would be home, but I had another service guy scheduled for 7 PM. Mike at MC said that while I may not be the first appointment for the day, they would call before arriving. So I stopped other activities that I could have been doing that day and waited for the call. No call. At 4:30, I was getting concerned about two service guys interfering with each other, so I called MC. Got an answering machine. At 5:30, I called again. This time Mike answered, and I asked if he was still coming out. He said "yes," but he gave me some line about the truck got stuck during a perfectly dry, sunny day in September. He said he would be careful not to interfere with the other service guy, and said he would call me back when they were about to arrive. No call. Ever. Now it's several days after the work was scheduled, I can't find another service to do the work before my driveway is sealed, and I anticipate a month delay and a real mess when it does get done. He never did call me back. My recommendation is that you avoid MC Tree Service.

I had 10 trees removed. They are very shotty workers. I would never recommend them. They left sticks, twigs, and chippings about 8 foot tall pile all over my yard. I have called them multiple times to come back out and they will not answer or return my calls. I have a ton of trees that need cut down and I would never use them again.

I called MC Tree service on Saturday July 6 when I discovered a tree had fallen in my back yard. The tree fell onto a giant Arborvitae and was leaning on it. I received a call back from Mike, who said he could come by and take a look. He did come promptly on Saturday morning and said the cost to remove it would be 300. I also asked for a quote to clean up the overgrowth in the yard where branches of other trees were impinging on the light space of the Arborvitae, as well as to cut down a lot of dead branches and overgrown ground vegetation that made the corner of my back yard a jungle. The total estimate was 500 dollars. They fit me into their schedule the following Monday as I was anxious to save the Arborvitae by getting the fallen tree off of it. On Monday a crew of four arrived at eight in the morning and began working. They used special equipment to pull down and cut down the really high branches impinging on the Arborvitae, and then get down the larger branches and sections of the fallen tree trunk and put them thru the wood chipper. They were fast and efficient and kept moving the whole time they were here, which was a little over an hour; they clearly were capable and experienced and knew what they were doing. I really appreciated that they fit me into their schedule on such short notice, even though the tree had not fallen on the house or car and was technically not an emergency--but it was stressing and harming the giant Arborvitae which I was anxious to save. They cleaned up everything when they were done and my yard now looks 100 per cent better, more light and open and even bigger. I thought at first it was a bit expensive, but worth it; however in talking to other people who have have recently had tree work done, I found the price is in line with what others charge, maybe a little better.

Overall was an excellent experience, he was personable, explained everything, was on time for the estimate and performed the work the next morning. Very reasonable rates and fun to work with, would definitely recommend him!

They were excellent. They were fun to work with. I think it's important to make sure that they take away anything that is needed, and I made sure that the trees that were being taken away were for a good reason. I already have, and will continue to recommend them to others.
