We had a terrible time with them. We had turned in a set four or five years ago. It kept not being finished. We got fed up, and my husband called the Better Business Bureau to file a report against them. They commented on it and tried to blame us. We never got that TV because we didn't want to go. My husband left there angry. She tried to say that she felt threatened by him just because he was angry. It was a small TV, and we never picked it up because we didn't want false accusations against us. We complained three or four weeks after giving them the TV, and we couldn't even get an answer out of them. It's a husband and wife team, and the wife is a really angry lady. It shows that they aren't treating people right.

This has been a total nightmare. The business owner is telling me one excuse after another, one story after another, asking that I "be patient" - the lack of service and professionalism is unacceptable. Owner is blaming the Funai dealer and still has the nerve to refuse to refund my $25.00 deposit! If I were Funai, I would drop this business from the Authorized Service Center list -I've since discovered 13 reports on the BBB site that support my findings as well. These people run a poor business, don't believe a word they say. If they were reputable, they would've been on top of this back in early June. Shame on you Brighton TV, shame.
Description of Work: Brighton TV is an authorized service center for Funai (Emerson, Symphonic, Sylvania) brands. To have my TV repaired under warranty, they were chosen from a list of limited locations. I dropped my TV off on 4/29/2006 and to this date 8/22/06, it's unresolved. On 6/26/06 Brighton TV said they were waiting on a part - giving me the impression it was coming from China. On 7/31/2006 I called Funai (in CA), to find out the reason for delay, turns out the CRT is defective and the TV was to be exchanged out. I then informed Brighton TV that no "part" was being sent, Funai had been waiting on the receipt of labels off the TV set to be sent from Brighton TV. Per Brighton TV, they were sending labels out that day -I was to expect my new TV in two weeks. On 8/22/06 I called Funai and was told per their call to Brighton TV, they said they sent the labels on 8/14/06 (nice huh?). It's been nine days and Funai still hasn't received the labels. Also, Brighton TV won't give me back my $25.00 deposit.
