Howard and his team did a superb job remodeling our master bath. Very punctual, super responsive, and excellent quality - met and exceeded our expectations. Bob and Ryan fixed pre-existing plumbing and venting issues. They always kept us updated every step of the remodel. Very professional and pleasant to work with. Will hire again!

Howard and his team did a fantastic job doing a full renovation on our small Ferndale kitchen. We wanted a modern look and he understood my vision. We communicated almost everyday, and was always hyper-responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Ryan and Bob were very professional and respectful of our home and executed things well. The project stayed on budget, and there were no surprises. I would definitely use Designs in Glass again should we have any other renovation needs.

Not happy. I expected a design consultation not just an estimate. I should not have to pay $29 for someone to give me an estimate.

"Something awfully wrong! I don't even find your email in my records for quote. But nevertheless I will be calling you tomorrow to discuss find out all details. On your purchase from Angies List where they charge you $ 29 dollars for Designs in Glass to come measure for shower door and show you all options and with this deal I offer you $ 75 off Showerguard if purchased and upon purchasing a shower door from my company I credit back the $ 29 out of my own pocket that you paid to Angies List which they keep. If there is a problem towards Angies List, they will most definitely refund you back the initial $ 29. I just want to see why with over 1000 units sold every year with EVERY customer pleased with quality and service where the ball was dropped?? if it was at all. This was totally disappointing. It took a long time and I feel like I didn't get anything of value. I got a couple lines in an email. They told me they didn't even get the money for the deal. That's Angie's List gets it, which makes me think that they aren't really going out of their way to do a good job. I thought we had agreed on what I was going to get, and that's not even what I got. I didn't even call them back as it was so difficult to get a response. I just wrote it off. So I was not happy with that. And they really made me leary of using your special deals. He was a nice man. He and someone else drove all the way to my house. I just wasn't happy with the follow thru.

Everything went as well as could be expected. We particularly appreciated that Designs was with us at the tile store to help select the ideal floor tile, bath tile, tile fixtures and ornamentation as well as the ideal color of grout. Designs completely demolished the old bathroom, including smashing and removing the old bath tub. Designs did all the work to build out a showroom quality bathroom. Designs subcontracted the drywall finishing and painting. Both subs were highly qualified and did an excellent job. Their price was on the high side, however, you get what you pay for. We couldn't be happier with the process and end product!

Initially I contacted a different contractor who appeared to be intelligent and articulated well. He looked the project over and gave me a verbal estimate. When the written estimate came it was double. I tried to negotiate which simply equated to me doing some of the work to get the price down. I went back to the drawing board of contractors and found Howard & Bob from Designs in Glass. I read the reviews and was somewhat puzzled at the things in the very few negative reviews listed. (95% were A's). They came out promptly and within 24 hours I had an estimate (all inclusive) at $5000 less than the first contractor. So I took a chance and I couldn't be more pleased. We were under a time restraint and they told me up front that they were busy with other clients, but would squeeze me in between them. This meant that they weren't there on a steady schedule, but that was ok because when they came, they took care of business. They were easy to work with and if I added something they simply quoted it and went to work. Their staff was efficient on each visit, made excellent progress. Communication was also wonderful. I would text one of them and I'd get an answer almost immediately. They cleaned up when they were done and most importantly, my wife is happy. So to those of you who wrote negative reviews I have to say you're missing something. For those who wrote positive ones, thank you because you are what prompted me to call them. Howard & Bob, you did a great job. I don't believe anyone could go wrong hiring you. I will certainly call you back on the next project.

I was not happy with it. They were not timely. They sent out a worker and he left, so the owner had to then come back out to do it. So, the timeliness was horrible. The pricing was high. The first person came out and didn't know what he was talking about, but the owner did. The owner was knowledgeable, he was very nice. The owner was very nice, but he had an employee come out, who did not know the correct information and then, it got lost, they never got back to me. They never got back to me until I called them. The responsiveness was poor because I had to call them back. They need to make sure they followup right away from the estimate.
