I found the company on Angie's list, they were the only one listed, but the comments were favorable. Although they are about one hour away, they were happy to come out and spend a lot of time with me measuring and showing me what was available. I did not feel at all steered or pressured towards spending more money, only to get what I wanted at the best price. It is a small outfit, and very responsive. After the initial estimate, I was not able to complete the deal right away due to cash flow problems. When I called back many months later, they still had my information, but came out to measure the windows again to be sure they were right. They also had no problem with changing parts of the order. The installation was this morning and went without a hitch and as promised. It is a lot of money for the job, but I have a big house with a lot of windows. I didn't comparison shop, but it was about what I expected to pay, and I didn't want to deal with a company I didn't trust.
