WIN Home Inspection

George Gaves showed up on time and gave us a overview of what he would do during the inspection.  He encouraged us to be with him as he inspected all aspects of the home (electrical, HVAC, foundation, roof, plumping, structural, etc.), and encouraged us to ask questions about everything and anything.  He had all the requisite equipment (ladders, flashlights, screwdrivers, meters, etc.) so that he could check into even the dark places.  George provided context for his remarks about the various parts of the house; for example, when he looked at things like the furnace and A/C, he noted the year of installation and told us what the average useful life of such equipment is; so we have a good idea of what we might have to replace during our tenure in the house.  He also checked the operation of kitchen appliances, laundry appliances, ceiling fans, toilets, etc.  This guy is so thorough.  We feel very comfortable that we know the condition of all major aspects of this home.
I checked "I went to provider's location" where I was asked where work was performed because I do not care to give out the address, beyond saying it was in the city of Plymouth.
