I left a message for them about 6:30 in the morning and they returned my call first thing. We were not the only crisis that day since a major storm had ripped through the area. They arrived much more promptly than I expected! We have used Shady Tree for probably thirty years. We bought a house with several aging cherry trees, a sycamore with a spliced trunk which split, a very tall tree which required special equipment to trim, and many trees whose branches overhang the roof. Shady Tree comes almost annually to take care of our tree issues.

Excellent experience. Very professional and organized. Stump grinding was done a couple days after the tree removal, also very quick and well done.

My goal was to trim the tops of some small trees and bushes in my back yard, but to preserve the lower part of the trees for privacy. I emphasized to Frank, the owner, that preserving privacy was important and even provided him with a picture with a line drawn on how low I would like to trees to be trimmed. Frank thoroughly examined the proposed job. He seemed knowledgeable and competent. He even matched a lower estimate I received form another company. However, on the day the crew arrived, Frank did not arrive with them and so I couldn't confirm with him that the crew understood what the job entails. I am not sure whether Frank explained to the crew all the details of the job. I was shocked when I saw the result... A whole length of trees in the back of the yard was completely removed, rather than just trimmed. Now I am stuck with a huge and quot;holeand quot; in the formerly green and quot;walland quot; of trees and my new view is of a row of garbage cans of a neighboring apartment building.

It went very well. The work was excellent. They do an excellent job on cleanup. I would highly recommend them.

I saw them at my neighbor's house and I went down there to see if they would just come and trim my tree. If I had them come out separately the charge would have been over $200 but since they were down the street, I only had to pay $80. They did quite a bit of clipping for me. They did a great job but I wouldn't use them again because I can't pay that kind of money.

We have always been happy with Shady Tree Company. Their prices are good. The quality of their work is good. The owners usually come out to give us the estimates. They are very personable. I would continue to use them in the future.
