Indoor Comfort Heating & Cooling

I was happy with them. Everything turned out okay and there were no other problems. I am on a yearly service contract with them and the quality of service I received was good.

Our A/C stopped working and after looking through providors on Angie's List selected Indoor Comfort since they had a great rating and a coupon for 10% off. They sent someone the next morning and the serviceman was extremely professional and courteous. I pretty much knew what was wrong after doing a little reasearch and the tech proved me correct. He had the part needed and installed it quickly (capacitor for the motor). I asked him about zone systems for HVAC and he gave me a couple of options that are available, and when I asked about a rumble in the HVAC fan he spent a few minutes taking the front off and found a piece of filter that had been sucked in that was causing the noise. Thanks! I didn't present the coupon until the bill had been tallied (ok - so I'm not the most trusting person) and he quickly made the adjustment. All in all a very good experience and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to othersced

Wednesday the 19th I woke up to find that the house was 59 degrees, even though the thermostat was set to 71. The temperature in the house kept dropping and by evening I realized that although the fans on the furnace were blowing, it was blowing cold air. Being relatively new homeowners, I don't have many regular repair people. However our furnace had a maintenance log on the side of it from Indoor Comfort, so I decided to go online and check out their services and reviews. The reviews were excellent, so the next morning we gave them a call. Just 3 hours later the repairman showed up. I'm an introvert and having people I don't know in my house makes me nervous, but the repairman was very nice, good with our dogs, and set me right at ease. He even took off his shoes upon entering the house! He checked several things in our furnace and found that one of the 5 limiters had burned out, which makes the furnace think that it's overheating. He replaced it, and stuck around to make sure that the house heated up afterwards. I embarrassedly told him that I couldn't understand the schematic to change the furnace filters, and asked if he could show me. Apparently, the previous owners had busted the door where the filters are housed, which is why I couldn't understand how to get to them. He showed me how to open it (they had placed a bolt in the door to keep it on, which needed to be removed to change the filters) and put the filters in. Altogether he was very kind, respectful, helpful, and, of course, knowledgeable. I doubt I'll ever use another company -- in fact I hope to buy a Bryant furnace/AC unit from them next year!

Company was professional and helpful from initial phone contact to service visit. The technician who came out to do the work was prompt, competent and thorough. As a new homeowner I appreciated the time he spent teaching me and advising me on how to best maintain my system.

The service person was knowledgeable and very polite. Everything has been working great since the repair 2 months ago.

We returned home the evening of July 4th to find our A/C was out and I called Indoor Comfort the morning of the 5th. This was during one of the hottest weeks of the season with temperatures over 100 degrees. Indoor Comfort scheduled us for a service call for the afternoon of the 6th. Apparantly Indoor Comfort had been swamped with calls due to the hot weather. Greg arrived late in the afternoon of the 6th and quickly diagnosed the problem as a blown capacity. He indicated that this was the most common A/C repair. The needed parts were on the truck and he was able to have us back up with A/C within about 20 minutes. He was professional and courteous and readily accepted the Angies List discount coupon I printed out from the web site. He also made a couple of suggestions of what we could do to allow our A/C unit to operate more efficiently. I was pleased with the service overall and plan to use Indoor Comfort again should we have another heating or air conditioning problem.

I was extremely impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and honesty. (And I am picky) Without question, I will call for him and his company before anyone else. He surpasses the previous competitors service people by a mile. I also see how Indoor Comfort has earned Angie's Super Service Awards, Medal of Excellence from Bryant, Pinnacle Award ( A dealer who has won the Medal of Excellence award 5 times or more), etc.

I was trying to decide between buying one form them and one from the big blue store. The indoor comfort guys gave me a higher quality product at the the best price they could (very close to the big blue store). In the end, I felt more comfortable going with indoor comfort, and was very pleased with the result. They did have to return and replace a part on it, and were very quick about doing so. With the big blue store (or the big orange store), you might save a little money, but with indoor comfort I have a high quality product and peace of mind that if something goes wrong, I can count on them.

I love them! They really know their work and know what they’re doing.

I certainly recommend them! They always show up at the exact time that they say they’re going to be there; not even 5 minutes late. We were looking for hot water heaters, one system in particular, and Mike, the owner, sat down with us to explain what the best option would be for our home. He’s a man of his word, runs the business well, and we’re happy to be their customers! They are great overall.

The work was done about 8 years ago, but the experience was fine overall. They weren't the cheapest, but the installation was great.

The service was about 11 years ago, but it was fine. They did an excellent job and worked with us to keep the costs down. I agreed to schedule during their off-time in the winter, and that’s what they did with no problems. The B ratings were due to an electrical subcontractor that they hired, who I had to work with a few times to get the work done how I wanted it to be; they did work with me to make it right.

The experience was excellent. With the installation of the water heater, we had a misunderstanding, but the owner worked with me and we came to a satisfactory resolution. He has great people that work for him. They’re always willing to help out and everything has been good. I would highly recommend them!

We were out of state & had someone staying in our home. Our furnace stopped blowing heat. I used Angie's List to find Indoor Comfort. I called first thing Friday morning and they worked with us around the college schedule of our house-sitter. The service man arrived within the window given and quickly diagnosed the issue. I had provided the make & model of the furnace in advance so he had parts with him, was able to replace the ignitor in less than 1 hour. We presented Angies List coupon and it was happily accepted.

Went well. Very knowledgeable technician.

They are extremely responsive. When you call they are very pleasant on the phone and they do everything they can to accommodate the consumer’s calendar.

Arrived very quickly (called at 8am, here by 830). Fixed problem very quickly and cheaply. Took angle's list coupon.

Performed service first thing in the morning. Prompt service, very professional, very informative.

Excellent experience. They showed up on time, completed a big job quickly (1 day and a few hours of cleanup on the 2nd day) and within estimates. They even filled out/sent in the form for the utility rebate. I have had no issues with anything since installation. Their bid was a bit higher than some others, but the quality of the work made up the difference. Would use them again,

Even though the price was a lot, we decided to go for a top-of-the-line unit and I'm pleased with job they did.

When we bought this house one of the rooms was really cold and he had come to fix one of the leaks in the hot water pipes and he basically figured out in the process that the thermostat in one of the rooms was not connected to the pumps in the basement. That room had never had any heat in it ever. The house is 60 years old. He connected the wires and he figured out what the problem was and fixed it. The room is warm now. We didn't call him to fix it but he figured it out and it was just amazing. It makes a world of a difference to that room and we don't have to worry about the room freezing. He gave us a good price on the water heater and he didn't try to over sell and make us buy a more expensive one than we needed. He also charged us very little for the repair on the heating system which he worked on all day. He was a problem solver. He listens well and responds to your concerns.

My Air Conditioner was not working anymore. The person came out and looked it over and saw that the capacitor was blown. So he replaced that. While there he checked the freon charge of the unit and found that it was over charged. He balanced the charge so that the unit would not have to work more than it needs to. He also took a look at my central air setup and heater stuff. He even gave me a free air filter to replace my old filter in the vent system. The person was friendly and informative.

It went very, very well. They are good and prompt. They were really good and there wasn't anything bad.

Was slightly less than thrilled with responsiveness and attentiveness to my concerns. Would have liked it if they listed a bit more. I called them because they had excellent ratings on Angies list and we had had them over before for an estimate and they seemed very professional.

Called these guys about a water heater and talked to the owner (I believe). He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Scheduled an appointment to get a hot water heater installed for some time in the future (we were going on vacation, and our heater was not leaking, so there was no rush). A few days before the scheduled install, there were some large storms that resulted in severe flooding. Indoor Comfort called us to explain that they had a lot of emergency situations (flooded furnaces) to deal with, and so would likely be unable to complete non-emergency jobs at the scheduled times. When they called, they had referrals lined up to contractors that could make it on the date. Since there was no rush on the job, we simply rescheduled for a later date. The installer arrived as agreed, installed the water heater and removed the old unit. He was very professional and the install was clean and neat.
