First, their furniture is very middle grade. We've bought quite a bit of it through the years. One reason we kept going back was service. But good service is apparently a thing of the past. We recently bought a floor sample chair. it was in virtually perfect condition--it had one very small spot--which was noted on the sales receipt. The skirt, though, was ruined during delivery. Rather than replace the chair, EA tried, unsuccessfully, to repair it THREE times. That is, three Saturday morning repair calls. We finally said "Enough! We want a replacement." After another visit to the house from the store manager, their solution was to replace it with another damaged chair. Period. We never would have paid as much as we did for a chair in this condition. I felt like we were very patient--the whole process took six months. They ruined our chair and should have compensated us or replaced the chair with one in at least as good condition as the one we originally bought. I suppose our mistake was to allow them the multiple attempts at repair. Lesson learned. And a big warning to anyone else who considers doing business with them.
