UPS STORE

My initial email to them:  Hello,   I recently dropped off a package for return to Sears with a shipping label prepaid by Sears.   I left the box open because I wasn't sure how to handle it.   I was charged a dollar for a piece of tape to close the box.   I must tell you that I find it unfortunate that your business is apparently that financially burdened that you find it necessary to charge for a piece of tape.   Just so you know, I doubt that I will be doing business there again and of course have shared my experience with the many people I know in Alpena.  Sincerely, mike barber   Their response:  It's unfortunate that you feel that way.  We are not the only The UPS store that charges for that. You could have purchased a roll of tape if you felt that way. Or, we could have sent it open and I'm sure your item would not have been in the box by the time it got to its destination.  (Your item was probably worth more than a dollar)   I know it may sound petty to you but I'm sure you are unaware of the actual costs of supplies.  I sure hope you change your mind and come in to see us again.
