We had the best experience with Julian and his crew. Our sump pump failed in our finished basement and my father in law helped us find Llama's Construction to do the renovation work. Julian came out right away to give us an estimate and provided us with a timeline of when work would begin and end. We felt very comfortable with him right away and in my opinion trust is one of the most important things in any home project, sometimes it is not easy letting a stranger(s) come into your home but we felt at ease with Julian and he met all of our needs. Replacement of wood, install of insulation, drywall replacement and repair, painting, install of molding and more. I am so thankful that we crossed paths as now should we need his services in the future we have someone in our corner that we know we can count on and trust. Thank you Julian and crew!!! You truly exceeded our expectations!

Unfortunately there was some damage done to my floors, paint,and banister for some work I had done. The rest of the work turned out very nice. Julian was great until I had some feedback and additional details I needed them to work on. So if your job is going great there is no issue, if there are concerns and you bring them up, he seems to not handle that very well and he became very hostile/upset. It s unfortunate because some of his work was very good but I would not work with him again based on his way of handling working through some adjustments that needed to be made.

"The truth of the matter is as follows, we were Ms. Allison 2nd contractor. The 1st walked off the job. After being on the job for two days, my workers refused to go back because of how condescending she spoke to them. After speaking with her, she apologized for the? misunderstanding? I sent the guys back and with in two days it started again.. So we completed the original scope and explained to Ms. Allison I would do continue with the additional work she requested.. As far as the paint on the banister and floor, there were literally a few drops, that were cleaned without an issue.."

Julian was courteous and clear on what the plan was for our project. He was willing to work around our schedule, and did a great job with our project. He placed mats on the floor and cleaned up well, given the work involved. If I have any more projects, he will be one of the first I call. I highly recommend Julian for any projects involving plaster or ceiling repair.

I hired Julian from Llamas Construction to do a small plaster repair job at my apartment building in Dearborn. He was supposed to do the work, then send me pics of the completed work along with an invoice and I would pay him over the phone via credit card. Instead, Julian sent me a message that he was almost done and to call him. However, I was in an important meeting and could not call him back for about 1 hour. By that time he aggressively ripped out his repair work! I have been in the real estate business for 40 years and have never encountered such rude and unprofessional behavior. Do yourself a favor and steer clear from Julian and Llamas Construction.

"Yes,I removed the work by removing 6 screws not ripped out aggressively. Why? Mr (consumer name withheld per their request) failed to honor our agreement, pay upon completion. We have had bad experiences with property management companies not paying in the past. Mr (consumer name withheld per their request) is a property management company he assured me he would answer my call and make payment by phone. I texted him letting him know the time factor I would be done. He replied quickly and acknowledged no problem. I texted him when I was about finished, ( no reply ) I completed and texted him ( no reply) I gave approx 30 minutes more while I cleaned up my tools. still ( no reply ) Déjà vu just like the other property management companies."
