I do not think you should use Town & Country for any reason at any time. My husband, when he lived here before, used Town & Country and they are the worst group. My two dogs got into a fight and one of them ended up with a broken foot and leg. The only thing they fixed was the broken foot, they did not know about the broken leg. I found a cat up a tree, which my husband got down for me. I took her down there to have her neutered and fixed and everything. She came back with an infected foot. They said it was too bad and it would go away. They gave me pills to give her. Giving pills to a cat is not a fun thing to do. I would definitely not recommend these people for any reason at any time. I had to have another vet straighten things out. The Town & Country people are frightfully expensive. The quality is very bad. When I took my dog in I sat in a cubicle for an hour waiting for somebody to show up. They get around to you when they get around to you, there is no such thing as punctuality there. I did not see much punctuality there. They don't even talk to you, they just come in and say let me have the animal and then they take it away. That is it. You can't even see what they are doing.
Another facet of his practice is his equine business. He loves taking care of horses and has specific farm days where he will go to the horse farms to tend to his clients, though if there is a small animal in need, he'll work to fit them in and care of them accordingly.
All in all, there is no other Veterinarian with whom I would work at this point of my life. We actually drive 40 minutes from Grand Rapids to Allegan just to see him. My animals are healthier because they see him.
