I hired this company for what should’ve been a straightforward project: kitchen trim, a subway tile backsplash, and some drywall. I explained everything clearly — multiple times in person and over text — and even emphasized "subway tile" at least ten times. But from the start, things felt disorganized. They no-showed more than once, without any call or warning. My roommate and I both had to take time off work — using vacation hours — just to be home for them. Each time, we were left waiting in silence. One visit was delayed due to a car accident, which I completely understand — but even then, I had to text hours later just to find out what happened. They didn’t reach out on their own. Communication was a constant struggle. Texts and calls would go unanswered unless it was about their issue or schedule. When I needed answers — even simple confirmations — I was met with radio silence. I was also left to buy far more materials than we agreed upon — not just the backsplash, but nearly everything. It became clear there was no planning on their end. Then came the breaking point: while on-site, one of the workers accidentally turned on my stove and walked away. My roommate, who was supervising, caught it just in time — after the kitchen had already filled with smoke. That could’ve turned into a real disaster. Despite all of this — the no-shows, the poor communication, the extra costs, the fire risk — they refused to refund the deposit. According to them, too much work had been done. But in reality, only minor prep had even started. I have all the messages, call logs, and receipts to back this up. What I experienced was disorganization, carelessness, and a complete lack of accountability. I can’t recommend this company to anyone. If you value your home, your time, or your safety, find someone else.
