Masonry Work
We had to put up with his never ending talk about his personal problems. He had endless excuses for why he wouldn't show up time and time again. None of which were related to any weather issues which I would have understood in that profession. He actually tore down a wall he put up the day before because he "remembered"? that he left or put plywood in the wall tightly encircling the woodstove pipe. I would have never known it was in there as he had already placed the fireretardent material up on the inside wall behind the woodstove. This seemed like a major fire hazzard and code violation. Not sure why he did it and then came back to rectify that mistake. He was completely mum about it.
Very bizaar experience.
On the second half of a hired job to tear down the top of an old chimney, he just never showed up for 2 weeks. Had a string of excuses where I had to, jump in, cut him off and fire him.
