Description of Work: We had several large dead trees on the property that had to come down as they were a danger not only to us but also our neighbors. Description of Work: They cut down a tree next to out house and trimmed a couple of trees with branches on the roofline. They completed it in one day, including grinding the stump and did a great job of getting rid of the debris, except for the tree trunk which they left at our request in sixteen inch lengths. Will definitely use them again

Description of Work: Tom Ford responded promptly and provided a very fair estimate. He was very polite, professional and accommodating. I was out of town when the work was done but when I got back all the work was done and my yard was left without a trace of debris. In addition to removing trees and shrubs, he was trimming overhang from my neighbor's trees and he had spoken with neighbors from each side and had left a very favorable impression with them as well. He even stopped by when I returned and wanted to be sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend Davey Tree Expert Co and Tom Ford. It was truly a pleasure to do business with him.

+ -1 moreI called them initially to deal with the storm damage. They came out right away to do an estimate. I asked for an estimate for each tree. Initially I told them I didn't think I could afford all three trees but he said he'd work with me on the price a bit because he thought the work really needed to be done. They did all of it in a day and hauled away the wood. The missing trees were the only sign that they had been there. No damage to my lawn or landscaping. They were professional and polite. I would absolutely use them again.
Description of Work: The Davey folks removed a huge tree that came down in Hurricane Irene. They dealt with another tree that had snapped off half way during the same storm. Finally, they took down a tree growing next to my house that should have been taken down years ago!

+ -1 moreThey always leave a nice and clean and do good work. I would use them again. They couldn’t seem to take out the stump otherwise they did a really good job. They went out of their way to hang some lights which was beyond their normal service.
