Dry Cleaning Service
I have a black and white jacket that had some stains on the sleeves, so I brought it into the cleaners to have professionally cleaned, specifiying that the sleeves, inside and out, needed special attention.
When I picked it up in June, I grabbed it quickly, paid for it and when I went to put it on when I got home I noticed that the sleeves were still slightly stained. My fault for not looking the entire garment over, but I assumed it was completelly cleaned. When I returned it in August again, I specifically mentioned to the man behind the desk that the sleeves again needed attention and showed him where.
I picked my jacket up on September 13th, only to find the sleeves are still stained. The woman behind the counter stated that "well this shows a redo" and you never paid for it last time." I said, "well how would I have been able to take it out of the store without paying for it?" She said, "I don't know" she then said "well you are going to have to pay for a second redo". I did pay for the original cleaning, but I refused to pay for a second redo as it was never redone the first time.
The woman behind the counter did give me a ticket with a zero price. I explained to her that I do not hold her responsible for the mistakes of either the cleaning personnel or the man who typed in what ever he typed in. It is in no way her fault, but I can tell you, LOOK OVER YOUR DRY CLEANING BEFORE YOU TAKE IT OUT AND PAY FOR IT.
