Great. I was happy with their service and used a coupon that I got from a local advertisement about their services.

Excellent - they are quick, thorough and clean up well after they are done.

Very good - windows were dirty. Left some, but very little, streaks.

My initial call was fine to get an estimate and make an appointment. I was told they only did estimates over the phone. I was told $6 per window, $1 per screen and $50 for the front and back gutters. I asked them to clarify what constitutes one window, as we have some odd sized windows in our house. Some are regular sized but are made up of a few panels and some are very tiny. She clarified that one window was one opening in the wall. I confirmed twice with her on this as it was worth it to me to hire them for $6 a window but not if one of our windows was really 3 in their minds. They arrived within the 2 hour window I was given and were professional and efficient. I had no problems until they gave me the bill. Sure enough they counted every panel in my house as a window instead of one "opening". I told them this was not what I was told when I made the appointment. After some back and forth I called the office and spoke with the manager Pamela. She was rude and explained their pricing system completely differently then what I was originally told by her when I got the estimate and made the appointment. She also said that what constituted a "normal" window was up to the workers that came to the house to determine. She was very rude, completely lacking in customer service, and told me I was the one that was wrong and that she had never defined a window in that way during the original estimate. I got off the phone with her since that was going nowhere and asked the guys to explain to me how they were determining the price of my windows. They were tired of waiting around, had another job, and said they would take $200 instead of the $219, which was the original invoice. Out of frustration I just paid them the $200 to be done with it. What really got me about this experience wasn't even the total cost. It was that I was told one thing during the estimate and charged another after the job was done. And poor customer service on top of it. If I and J are going to have an ad hoc policy about what constitutes a window then they should do in person estimates. At a minimum the actual policy should have been explained to me during my over the phone estimate. There is nothing I hate more then a contractor that is dishonest and says they will charge one thing and then charges another. I will not be using I and J Services again, which is a shame as we could have been regular customers. My husband hates washing windows and cleaning the gutters! We will be looking for another contractor.

This time that I used them was fine. I have used them in the past and the women on the phone who does the schedules was very rude. I only used them this time because I was in a pinch so I went back with them and they did a lot better than the time I used them. They were late the first time I used them even though I told them they couldn't be late.

Arrived slightly late. Work performed appeared to be good. Two workmen friendly but business-oriented.

They said they would come back at 2:00pm to finish the three windows but never returned. Make sure they understand what they are suppose to do.

Gutter cleaning consisted of one person manually grabbing leaves and throwing them on the ground. In a few places the sludge splashed against the house. They did not flush the gutters or clean out any of the grit in the gutters. Good general window cleaning and no streaks. The job is quickly completed. Need to have all work areas properly cleared. I had a black lacquer buffet which only allowed my shutters to be opened half way, when they cleaned my windows, they got black marks from the buffet on the white shutters. They periodically have coupons in the Merchandiser mailer which makes the work very affordable. Considering I have paned windows the cost of $5 - $6/window (regardless of number of panes) is an excellent price. I felt "I got my money's worth" on gutter cleaning.

Very responsive. Appointment made after prior inspection and proposal, with cost (not necessary to be home). Phone answered and and job arranged by telephone. Did a terrific job efficiently.

Due to a coupon found on the local paper we used them. The price was the biggest factor in hiring them, though we were quite happy with the service. They also removed the storm windows for cleaning and were on time.

They were very fast and polite. I don't know how they do it, but I never see a streak! I use them twice a year, and it seems to work out well.

Two representatives arrived promptly, did the work very professionally and to my satisfaction. This was the second year I've used I and J; this time the price went up by about $60. Still well worth it.

I have had them over before. They have always showed up when they say they are going to and their prices are very good for the quality of work that they do. The thing I like most about them is they take their shoes off when entering my home. That is a rare quality.

I have been using them for some time now to do my windows for me because they are cheap and are good. So I called them up to see if they did decks as well and I was happy to know that they did do decks. I scheduled the job and they came very much on time to do the cleaning for me. I hadn't considered using them for this type of work but now that I know they do that kind of work too I'll be using them more. Their quality and prices are very good and competitive. I actually found them on a flyer I got and have been using them since that.

Their price is unbeatable as I could not believe the price was so low. They did the best job I have ever seen although we watched as 1 man ripped a branch off a Japanese maple and let the dirt and debris from the screens fall on my floors inside. When I had called the office to report the incident they said the workers denied it happened and would get back with me and never did. What it boils down to is that 2 of the men were very hard working and 1 of them was other wise. I will call them again because of the price and how unbelievably clean my windows were when they left.

They were excellent! They were very efficient, with no hassles.

The company gave me a date and time and never showed. I gave them another chance, they gave me a date and time between 2-3 pm on a Friday in May. I called several times @ 3:30,4,4:30, and five they told me each time that they were on the way. They finally showed at 5:50. They said it would take under an hour because I had dinner plans. It took 2 hours and they had to repeat some of the window tracks which they said they already did but they were awful. They took 12 dollars of the bill. They took a large stained glass wall hanging off a 30 foot high ceiling and did not put it back when they were done. Along with some dirty sills I noticed after they left uncleaned. I called to have them come back. They set up 2 appointments to which they did not show. When I called the person that answered the phone said she knows nothing, that she just answers the phone.

The company said two men would be arriving around 10:00. The two men were on time and got to work immediately. They brushed off all my screens and cleaned all my windows in about an hour and a half. They were quiet and efficient.

They were prompt, began working immediately after ascertaining which windows were to be cleaned and the screens. They were very efficient and task-oriented and moved quickly through the washing. The price was exactly what I was quoted. There were 2 heavy bedside tables that were not put back in their spots (too heavy for me to move) and, when I pointed it out, the fellow moved them immediately. They were very polite and quiet.

It went very well and I will refer them to others and hire them again. They came, they washed, they left. There's not a lot else that can be said about window washing.

My initial impression was very positive. The person answering the phone handled the scheduling efficiently. The workers arrived 3 hours early, but fortunately someone was home. The workers spoke no English, so we were a bit apprehensive about exactly what work they would be doing. It was helpful that they did come in a truck marked with the company's name. They seemed to work very quickly. To the best of our ability to inspect the work, they did a thorough and careful job.

They do good work, I would recommend them. There was a glitch with the scheduling, they were 2 and a half hours late. It was not a big deal this time, but if you are on a time schedule you might confirm with them about the time. Other than that, they were very courteous and removed their shoes when entering my home.

A team of 2 showed up exactly when they were supposed to. They were professional, courteous and neat. Very good job!

James Grove one of the owners very knowledge, very helpful, answered all my questions and even gave me his cell phone number. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. His crew was also very knowledgeable and were very careful not get the rest of my home dirty.

An estimator came to my home and quoted a price of $400. I scheduled the work. However, when the crew showed up they told me they couldn't do the job for the quoted price. They also told me that they couldn't clean the screens on my sliding doors. I questioned them since the price was quoted by a company representative who actually came to my home. The head of the crew said that they were subcontractors and that the job would be $490. After some discussion, they reluctantly agreed to do the job for $400, but said they couldn't be held responsible if the screen doors were not put back in place properly. They completed the cleaning satisfactorily and were careful about keeping the house clean. They installed the screen doors backwards.
