it went really well from the beginning because they were on time. they fix the wiring and they gave us new cable boxes. they are very professional people and I do appreciate everything they did for us. and please do not share our review with my neighbors. Thank You Teresa Romeo
Description of Work: they came out and fixed our wiring to our cable. and they gave us new cable boxes because they burned up. the gentleman was very professional he was very nice guy and he was really funny to talk to. that's why I gave him such a high rating I believe comcast Cable is one of the best cable companies around. I've tried other ones other cable companies and they do not even match up to Comcast. that's why I think they deserve this review.

For several weeks, we have asked to be contacted about upgrading our system to include television service. I have been on the phone, emailed, online chatted -- all to no avail. What's utterly baffling about them is their lack of responsiveness to me telling them I would give them more of my money for additional services. I wrote a letter to their corporate offices and never heard back. I've given up and wouldn't use them now if they offered me a year's free TV. What's more, when I had Internet installed several months ago, they said they'd send someone else out for free to help install a modem I picked up from their Leesburg office. The modem they gave me was the wrong kind and wouldn't work with my computer system. Despite telling me they would not charge me for the tech's visit, and 20 minutes of time, they charged me $100 for fixing the problem they created in the first place. I got fed up arguing with them about the bill and just paid it. Comcast has zero accountability to customers and the minute I have a viable alternative for my Internet service, I will go to another provider.

On 17 September 2012, I contacted Comcast to determine why nothing had been done in terms of site survey or installation. I was informed that a and quot;Delayand quot; had been placed on the survey, and that the Construction Department would be required to respond. I was promised an answer within the day. For the remainder of the week I called Comcast everyother day without an answer. No one knows why there is a delay; no one can contact Construction to get a reposne (I was told that the sales department does not even have a telephone number for the purpose of calling construction); and that I would have to wait. I figure six weeks is long enough to wait, not to mention bringing this to their attention so that they can follow up. I get the distinct impression that they don't really need my business, and one sales person suggested I contact another provider if I felt like I needed service. Overall, the experience has been abysmal.
Description of Work: I contacted Comcast on 8 August 2012 with the intention of installing cable inetrnet / television / phone. I was told that it would be 5-7 days to conduct a site survey and an additional 7-10 days for installation.

.We had another company come out to install another outlet for a HD TV that I had and they really messed it up so Comcast came out and they were awesome . It took them a couple times coming out here to get it fixed .It just would have been alot better if Comcast would have told me I needed an electrician in he begining and then it wouldn't have taken so long to get everything working correctly. But the guy from Comcast that did come out he was excellent and I nw have his number if I need him again. He was great.
