MARLO FURNITURE

.It was my first time buying from them and their customer service was very prompt. The staff were nice we bought a living room set and dining room set and they delivered it all. They also assemble it.

The purchasing part of this went quite well. The order was then set up as a "pick up". The couch was in stock and was able to be picked up in 3 days. The other 2 items were said to be available within 4-6wks,since they were not in stock & needed to be ordered. After 6weeks, phoned to check on this order and was told "it could be another 2 weeks. So called again, and spoke to another person @ customer service who called several other stores to find our missing items. They were able to find the pieces which sovled this part of the problem. When you pick up @ the warehouse in Brandywine you have only a few minutes to a**** the pieces for any obvious tears, stains,color problems. Never given a chance to look @ framing. The next issue occurred after the chair was completely opened @ home. It was determined that the hard wood framing underneath the entire chair is completely broken in half.When called customer service regarding this blatant manufacture defect, was told " too bad, you already signed for the chair, it's your problem". The customer service dept. offered no solutions or problem solving & spoke as if reading off a script. This all happened to my son. I am very disappointed with Marlo since I was the one who encouraged him to go there to buy furniture. This should not have gone this way. They are such a big company.
