Ian was the person I dealt with with regard to explaining the work I wanted done, providing me with an estimate and dealing with during the job -- siding replacement, deck replacement and trim work on the garage and house around the doors, overhead and personal doors. Excellent customer service. Explained everything he was going to do using pictures of the areas of our roof needing repair. After completion, showed pictures of those same areas with repairs.

The quality of the work and the service would lead me to probably hire them again. However, the value is a little suspect. Very expensive for the amount of time spent which was well under what was represented during the estimate. I would entertain multiple estimates next time.

I really appreciated his attention to detail and customer service. I look forward to using him again in the future.

Ian Mattisin provided excellent service. He is creative and cost conscious; his finish work is excellent. I would contract with him for any jobs we might entertain in the future.

Ian was at the house the same day I called and managed the repair (and a few additional items he found) quickly and for the same service charge. I have used him for two projects and will call him first if there's a need. I highly recommend him.

AS of 5/30/16 - No response received since 4/10/16. The response from House Pros below is not dated and misleading. Despite multiple attempts Ian Mattison has NOT responded. County paper work was done correctly and no inspection done during construction. simply bad experience. Not recommend House Pros. As of 4/10/2016 -County paper work is still not done in-spite of many reminder to Ian and promises from Ian that he will do in last 4 months I this is still not done. I have not received any communication from Ian on progress of county papers. When I contact county I find out that the original paper work done by Ian was not reflective of what he actually done and I was told by the county that there no inspection was scheduled during the work/construction so now county can not verify what was done or not done. As per county my work is still not registered correctly; this per contract Ian should have complected, last year. Really bad experience. Unfortunately communication and getting things done with Ian is very difficult. Also, the slide door lock that Ian installed was working now no longer working - after 4 week s of my email, voice message and text no response is received from Ian. I signed contract in first week of Sept. 2014 for a lower deck, and sun room w a small upper deck , and as of today in 3rd week of June 15 my job is yet to be finished. Taking too long to complete my job.

Dont Hire Them Hired them(Ian) to do a garage conversion into living space roof siding. The subcontractors that did the roof siding were great getting to that point was a terrible experience. Between the constant lies about when things were getting done/what was getting done/scheduling inspections not showing up for them. Ian didnt let his project manager know what was going on. He would tell me one thing not let the project manager know. I would be at the house most days Ian would say his guys were there working not knowing I was at the house all day no one was there but me. Ian lost the house key twice. I had to travel from my other house early in the morning to go let the workers in when they did show up. I had to leave work early at times take days off from work because he would schedule inspections not be able to make it or the workers would need to get it but he had the key was somewhere else. He would say his workers did work at the house that they didnt do that I actually did. The job was supposed to take 6 wks I figured it would take up to 9 the most well it took them 26 wks. He kept asking for more money even though the jobs werent complete. He would say oh the roof is going on next week Tuesday, 2 tuesdays later I ask again about the roof he tells me oh next week itll go up. 10 days later I ask whats going on with the roof he says oh Im not putting it up until we pass the plumbing inspection. When I asked Ian why did you keep telling me for over a month the roof was going up at X time if you knew you were waiting on the plumbing inspection to pass? He tells me I thought you would know that, I wasnt going to put the roof up then we have to put another hole in the roof for the plumbing then have to redo the roof. Out of the 26 weeks it took them to complete the projects his workers were here maybe a total 5 weeks. When they did come back they would say Man hes not done with your house yet Your house shouldve been finished, he has other peoples house who have been sitting for months even 1 lady who he hasnt completed the job its been over a year. She is very upset with him. He has several upset customers. This is what his workers told me. They felt sorry for me. His subcontractors have called me up told me that they havent paid by him that Ian told them he was waiting on payment from me even though he was paid . One time the plumber called me while I was at the house I just finished meeting up with Ian to discuss getting things wrapped up the plumber says Ive been trying to get a hold of Ian to get my money but he said hes out of town this week. I said no hes not he just left my house 5mins ago. The guy lies to everybody. His workers complained to me about his bounced payroll checks. His project manager tells me how Ian has had several other companies before HousePros that he keeps getting new companies started with different names after he gets too many complaints bad reviews. House Pros finished installation in one day and completed the trim by working on Saturday and the following Monday. Be sure that the written order contains everything that you want and check off each item before installation begins. I am very impressed by the dedication to detail by Ian, Shawn, George and Austin. Also, three days after completion Shawn called to make sure that we are happy---this is excellent follow-up and a sure sign that they care about their customers.

BAD COMPANY We hired them in March and should of only taken 6-8 weeks but it took almost 7 months. Permits were not gotten on time.Ordering of materials not done in a timely matter. Workers were grate and worked well when they had materials, they also worked without pay until anthers job came in with money or someone made a payment.Please don't hire them.

Overall, excellent work and I would rehire the company for another job. The quality of the work was as advertised, I was very happy with the finished product. The foreman, Kyle, and his crew were very easy to work with, were very responsive to requests and had exceptionally attention to detail. Communication with the company was always responsive, often replying to emails or phone calls within the hour if not immediately available.

I was very pleased with the professionalism and courteousness displayed at all times during any conversation or request made by myself. I am so comfortable and trusting with this company that I am considering them for another project.
